The point was to gauge how we supporters all feel about our putting in an effort to attend each week and paying our hard earned at the gate, in order to see a pack of bludgers and softcocks simply going through the motions and so treating us, the people who look up to them, with complete contempt by charading as committed footballers.

Do you get it now?

It's not about whether Pagan is right, wrong or otherwise. It's simply a fact of how can someone pull on a jumper for good money and have no pride in whether they win or lose?

Sure the list may be shit, but the attitude there is worse.

I have no conclusive proof of this, but you can put 2 and 2 together, or see that there's smoke and assume there's some fire.

It's as close to fact as you can get it without the club coming out and issuing a press release.

Maybe we can wait until we read it in the paper. They always get it right.

Your so-called
Quote:
pack of bludgers and softcocks
are simply pawns in a system that rewards mediocrity & "softcockiness". Their fast-route to success comes via priority picks & first round draft picks. No matter how determined a Waite, Walker or Stevens is & no matter how much fire exists in their bellies, at the back of their minds when they are 6 goals down at 3/4 time is the thought that next year, 2 or 3 young guns will arrive at the club to replace Clarke, Johnson & Digby.

Do YOU get it now?

Until the AFL change "the system" & do away with PP's & introduce some sort of lottery for the bottom 4 teams, players representing clubs at the bottom of the ladder will always display an apparent unwillingness to go "as hard" as players fighting for a spot in the final 8.

Demis says 95% of the players are trying as hard as they can- EVEN CAMPO. Playing good in patches but just not putting 4 quarters together.

Problem is 95% of our players dont have the real talent and the 5% that do .. 2 % work hard... and the other 3% are cheating the club and the supporters...(Lets change % to numbers for this exercise)I reckon Allens recent article is salient to whats going on ...its a mentality that the club owes the players but the players have NO RESPONSIBILTY to the club...

So now there are three likely scenarios as to why we can't win a game:
1. The players simply aren't good enough
2. The players themselves want to lose in order to gain better draft picks
3. The players don't give a shit what happens

Personally, I'd go for 3 with a little bit of 1 helping the situation along.

Have to disagree with that George. With communication the way it is today it only takes one rumour to be spread across a vast range of mediums like internet forums, radio, email etc. People have greater access to these mediums and simply repeat these rumours. Very quickly you have a lot of smoke and these rumours become fact.

How often have you received an email regarding Buckley and Tarrant?

Can I take that as fact?

Agree with your point - but in this particular case I think the jungle drums are banging the right rhythm.

I think 'passion' and 'love for the jumper' are handed down from past players, past legends.

We need Koutoufides and Camporeale and Whitnall (a young veteran) and Lappin, our oldest current Blues, to better sell-in the history and success of the club to young recruits.

These players aren't doing that well at the moment. Pagan needs to send the proverbial fire cracker up these players' arses.

Can you imagine Lance handing his jumper to Marc Murphy???
On one hand it would be a great touch cos Lance did that.. but also Lance isnt at the club anymore...

but on the other hand the jumper will be swimming on lil Marc...

We will have to call in the tailor for ammendments..

Yes, it is alleged by some as fact that these two are lovers.
