Think he means he is wary of losing money he has thrown on the Eagles for winning over 100pts. :D

You've gotta love the media mis-quote coaches and players.

Just on Woosha,

Love to have as him as our next coach.

Was a big loss when he left as an assistant... we seemed to be a tougher team with Woosha and now are a bunch of soft coa I mean marshmallows.

Gee, haven't they thumped us by 116 points and about 10goals last 2 times in Perth.... That was a good clash...

Get ready from this quote every week until the rest of the year. The only difference will be if the offending coach will be able to keep a straight face while he says it.......

Hard to comprehend it was just 10 years ago (admittedly slightly later in the season) when the two sides played in that epic clash at Subiaco. Spalding poleaxed McKenna, Kernahan accidently collected DeIulio, and the Blues won by a point...

That was some game of footy.

Didn't we do it twice in 3 years, once in 93 as well when we were 2 points up and Mainwearing (whatever his name was) kicked after the siren to hit the post....

Remember another close game in Perth when SOS played forward and nearly knocked himself out taking a diving mark then picked himself up and kicked the winner.

Pretty sure the Mainwarring poster was in that epic 95 game.

How about the classic 93 game when the "bush coleman" Stephen Oliver tore the collosus Jakovich apart. Geez we missed out on a beauty with Oliver.

Ahhhh yes, The Duke of Earl gave the best hip and shoulder/shirtfront I have ever seen. Bluey was out before he hit the turf. That incident is the sole reason for my name as The Duke.

It's a pity McKenna is locked in the Collingwood box now and not vulnarable to hits like that anymore  .

I reckon Earl's eyes must have lit up when he saw that opportunity present itself, particuarly in front of a home town audience.

On Oliver, a friend knows him from their teen years in Castlemaine. He just couldn't or wouldn't embrace the big smoke. The country life was for him, not being a professional footballer
