Synbad, what's your opinion on Stevens season so far? Seperate him and don't compare to Kouta or Campo. in his own right how do you think he's going?

Is he still playing injured?

If theyre out on the field theyre not playing injured.
Stevens in my opinion after working hard for the first few games has just fallen away.
Playing for this unaccountable midfield has clearly shocked him.
We have one more year of Stevens after this one.

In my honest opinion the quicker we lose Campo and Kouta from that midfield the better Stevens will become .
Im deadly serious when i say that...!!!!

stevens in my opinion doesnt give a shit because noone else does.

go back and look at the first 5 games this year... where he was running around chasing Campo and Koutas free opponents all over defence.

I reckon he just gave up the ghost...!!!

I tend to agree. His own unaccountability became obvious at the Collingwood game.

Its a pity he can't show the initiative to say well stuff Kouta and Campo I'll show them what they should be doing.

Its a shame, was so good last year and so good up until that game

Based on today's efforts I would almost include Houlihan in that lot.

I was shocked and appalled and some of the (non-efforts) by Houla, Campo, Kouta, Lappin and Stevens - they showed no willingness to get to the ball first (waited for St K players to pounce on the ball then give a half-hearted attempt at tackling) and actually pull-out of smothering attempts when it looked like there might be a bit of effort attached to it.

It is crystal clear to me - based only on what I can see on tv that there must be some players angling for a trade at the end of the year.

I feel desperately sorry for Simpson, Russell, hell even Bowyer, who is desperate to stay on, that they bust their arses week in week out just to get a game when these balloon-heads get selected automatically and just go through the motions.

Is carrying a groin injury and spent most of the 3rd 1/4 having treatment on the bench.
