I dont agree with Synbad all the time but I know he is willing to be accountable to his claims.
If you want to disagree or discuss something with him, he can be PM'd, he'll give you his mobile number or he'll meet you at the club.

He doesnt hide behind other peoples usernames.

I think MCB should be held accountable for giving use of his account to unregistered users.

Synbad gives his opinion in a forceful manner but at least he has the courage to identify himself.
Unless somebody actually identifies themselves, I assume MCB has once again breached the rules and acceptable behaviours of TBV/TC and should be banned.

So....to the mystery poster using MCB's login:
I wouldn't expect you to let us know your exact name, adress and phone number, but surely you could at least have the courtesy to register your own identity.

I want Matty to stay, but he has to be realistic, and if he truly loves the club, he won't hold the Club to ransom in this way (if indeed it's true). Just remember the trouble Skinny was getting into on a regular basis, with Fev, back in the "good old days" when Parko and Britts empowered the players to do what they wanted? Can you say a slab and a fire extinguisher?

Good line bh, if I knew how to get an emoticon into my post, i put in a laughing one.....

I think the person impersonating MCB should come in under own name, but made some good points, and let's face it, not surprising that a bully boy like Synbad has a few enemies. And the surrogate MCB seems to be on the inside at the club. Can anyone tell us about the missing points, or at least why they are missing?

As a poster who could not care less for the petty squabbles and bruised egos of any of the other posters, what I read was:

Blah Blah Blah, Walker & Waite Staying, announcement soon :D :D :D
Blah Blah Blah, Skinny staying, announcement soon :D :D
Blah Blah Lance going, were offered pick 21 for him last year and Travis Johnston from Melbourne the year before :? :? :?
Blah Blah Look out for Tarrant & Mackie (whom Dennis tried to get last year)
Blah Blah Blah Mitchell Clark rated highly by some recruiters Blah Blah
Blah Blah Campo undecided but should sign soon on reduced wages, Lance not to be re-signed Blah Blah
Blah West Coast offered us Gardiner for a 1st Rd Draft Pick Blah Blah

........................oh and apparently there was something about Synbad in there too!!! Cant remember what though!!

Hope the source is good, keep the info coming. Feel free to have a personal attack at me if it means giving up some juicy info mid-rant!!!

If it would make it any easier I am happy to have a go at: Lance, Campo, Kouta, Livo, whoever if it would help to get the angry juices going. Just let me know!!

In light of our current pathetic plight and to quote Robert Walls:

"Life will be tough at Carlton over the next few years and tough decisions will have to be made. Losing draft picks for salary cap cheating meant that recycled players were brought to the club to keep it afloat. That time is now over, and so should be the whingeing. The priority is to draft well and teach even better. It will take time."

Actions must arise accordingly perhaps the following:

1. Re-consider DP's contract..... maybe substitute him for Harry Potter, we need some magic and DP has depleted his resources.
2. No 3 year contracts to players aged 27+
3. Performance based contracts with sunset clauses for players 25+
4. Sack those responsible for res-signing fev for 3 years

It seems to me the old guard of carlton have returned to the scene. We need a complete overhaul by the end of the season. Untill then blood our younger players and give them some REAL direction for the future.

If this means cleaning out some past heroes, then tough, thats football!

Re-install the winning mentality. I hate tanking, it makes a farce of the club and our great game!

I have never been so insulted in my life!!! What would you know anyway you chocaholic 'wonker'. I know much more about Ego than you, why dont you get back to abusing 'oompa-Loompah's' and leave those of us 'in-the-know' to get on with running the world.

Now toddle off and see if you cant unplug that fat german kid from whichever of your outlet pipes from the chocolate river that he is no doubt blocking with his flabby personage!!

The very notion of questioning my post

Sorry Camel boy, I respect you and highly rate your opinion on most issues, however, to warn the MCB mystery poster for attacking Synbad is truely amazing.

It might be time to re-read one or two of Synbad's posts. Bearly a day passes without him attacking a fellow TC'er. Have a read of what he said to "The Game" in this very post simply because "The Game" had a different view to Synbad - derogatory at best, less vitriolic than most of the drivel that comes out of his mouth, but abusive none the less.

I do, however, agree with you that it should have been posted under the mystery man's own account.

Yes, I'm well aware of the issues you speak of OR, and take your comments on board.

As usual BV hits the nail on the head.

THis is being discussed between the mods at the moment (although God knows I have NO TIME FOR THIS TODAY!), but I would suggest that the mystery man do as BV says, and contacts Synbad himself. And let the rest of us continue in relative peace.

Hmmm interesting that the above post appeared. Seems to follow up a request I got last week about identifying who Synbad is, seems he has gotten up a few noses around the place. But as stated, Synbad is not that hard to find.

I should note. Synbad and I do fight like cat and dog at times, but as a person he is a pretty good bloke, just a little too passionate, for my taste, on occassion.

Agree with Ockham here Camel Boy. Synbad is a bully who agressively attackes anyone who disagrees with him. Not only that, this forum is browsed by impressionable kids whose opinions are easily swayed, and Synbad has a masterful way of stirring up th masses.

And as for all the posters complaining that the mystery poster didn't register under his own "pseudonym"...who cares! we're all anonymous, that's the point of these forums. Suddenly everyone gets so self-righteous ..."oh, he doesn't even tell us who he is" ... news flash! no one tells us who they are!

I've been posting for a little while now and Synbad has never attacked me.

Makes you think about the quality of my thoughts, doesn't it?

not true teddy, many of us know exactly who were are - least I think I do. And tommi, he's that third dot from the right. Pres is that pissed bloke over there with the carlton scarf wrapped around his throat, Agro is a surprise, Molsey is vacant and a dapper bloke who wishes he was the Ghost, Jar Jar is a geek who'll buy you a beer, Cammo will buy you two,
Camel has no humps on his back and the sailor is a nice man who has a lot of opinions.

Some of us have met through this and the old forum because we did sign on and become familiar. Now others choose to remain anon. and that is fine (one day I'll meet Tyrant, one day) but few of us hide.

People can hate Synbad or not

They can take what he says personally

or not

they can question his intelliegence

or not

but they cannot accuse him of hiding.

Well 'cept that time at goal kicking practise when he hid behind me! 'Course I makred the ball while he shat himself but hey, with a little more pace and a bit o luck I reckon oi would have made a fine wingman for the bluebaggers!

Kids should hear the way we talk, reads it, get impressed by it, I mean I think the world could do with a few more tommis and tyrants and deanos and camels and even synbads and bluemarks! Goodness me go to the Christain Football fellowship website if you want a good cleansing. I think John the Bap. is in their now doing online dunking for cleaner living!

fair enough dannyboy...i guess my point is that if you want to remain anonymous you can...that's why we don't use our real names ...

(by the way teddy is not my real name-it is a tribute to ted hopkins who was my hero after i went to the 1970 GF as a seven year old)

... i just found it amusing that so many people were upset that the mystery poster was anon, although I didn't understand his reasons for not registering, i didn't really care that he didn't. I don't know who anyone here is and i like it that way, but that's just me i guess.

It sounds like copping a bake from Synbad is almost some kind of TC "Right of Passage".

Lighten up world!!! This isnt the 1st time a few people on the sight have disagreed with another's comments. Indeed the very existence of this sight in particular, and of any web board for that matter is testimony to the fact that people like to get on-line and argue.

Anyway, as I've never copped a Synbad baking, I am off to play with the other juveniles elsewhere!!!

Not sure if i agree with you there dannyboy... there's alot of unecessary (imo) player bashing on this site and i think a mature mind can easily decipher the crap from the worthy.

As a kid i for one would have hated to read some of the stuff written about Lappin on this thread. Kids have there heroes...they're an important part of development. Criticism is okay...verbal player bashing is another thing.
