I have had two telephone conversations with Stephen Gough over the past 12 month and one in person at the Richmond game this year and I can assure you that the MCC did offer to negotiate on the PF in exchange for Carlton's home games at the MCG.
What you fail to achnowledge KERMIT is that the MCG may have given us something but the MCC had no pull when it came to where we were fixtured to play...
I really cant understand how people enjoy starting spotfires without explaining the facts...
AGAIn ill repeat... if you spke to Gough about what Gough could have offered us... why is it that the MCC got alot of dud games this year.. is it because Gough wanted the Collingwoof Freo Carlton Freo etc games???
Howabout you came down to the real world and faced the facts????
You keep bringing up the same old bullsjit month in month out....
Just because youre an MCC member does not meant we all wanted to play the games at the MCG.. or that it was possible...
As for the ripper deals Collingwood get at the MCG.. Collingwood have been the MCGs premier anchor tenants for a long time.
We had our opportunity to be just that but the previous president with all his wisdom decided to stay at Optus while all other clubs signed up to either the MCG or the Dome.. at the end of the day after our fiasco blew up in our face we went where we were put.
Ill go over all this with you again.. in another month... you either are a fire bug/ silly or you have the memory of a goldfish...
