I cant question Bowyers determination but he is not skillful enough! He did find the ball in the first quarter when the team was up and running but hes possessions didnt put any pressure on the opposition! In the second half he attained 2 possessions from 16 in the frst half!.. Wheres the consistancy in his game!. I know all of our players are inconsistant however he is at his prime where as players like Simpson, Waite, Bentick, Davies are still maturing. Bowyer i think had 15 handballs and 3 kicks, which isnt a good stat for the club. Rather than making the play hes letting someone else play the ball for him. He played a bit of a defensive role but he didnt lay 1 tackle. IMO the only reason why fevola plays so many shockers because its people like Bowyer who handpass it rather than kick a long decent ball too him.
Id delist Bowyer for the reason that hes not stopping us getting smashed and he wont improve. Id rather give his position to a young kid who will be given every chance to become a good player eg Bentick!

Carrazzo, much lauded on here, will never amount to a great footballer, some of his efforts were pitiful. And when I say efforts, I talk about chasing, harrassing and throwing yourself accross someones boot in an attempt to smother.

A tad harsh on a bloke who's 21, has played less than 20 games and seems to be developing belief and confidence with every game.

I can't recall a game playing in defence where he has been well and truly beaten. Enlighten me if you have proof to the contrary.

Yeah, we know he ain't Andew Walker but give the kid a chance to play 60-70 games before completely writing him off

You still haven't told us which of his 10 first quarter possessions you didn't like.

Under that logic we'll be dumping 25 players at the end of the season

Carazzo = the next Brett Ratten.

As for Bowyer, I'd like to see him in the middle for a bit. He can find the ball, can make a tackle stick, and can dish out as well as take it. How many of our other senior players can be described thus?

yeah we do... i think you forget where we are with our list.
we have about 10 players with real skill.. and about 4 of them try ...
so there is no way youre going to find 34 players that try with skill by next year.
in the mean time players like bowyer help in the grunt/ enthusiasm/guts and determination stakes

Some people just cant fathom where our list is at....
Its going to take us THREE YEARS.... maybe at a minimum..

I like Bowyer but I think Pagan will delist him based on the fact he is in and out of the side.
