Today the 14th of July is Mark 'Sellers' Maclure's 50th birthday.

Thanks for some great memories. You might not have been the biggest or most skillfull CHF going around but every week you were totally commited to the cause and that determination helped Carlton win a lot of games.

It is also Andrew McKay's 35th birthday today.

Much the same story as Maclure, not the most skillfull but a great determination. Toughness was also a great trait, and I loved it whenever McKay would tuck the ball under the arm and run through packs breaking tackles.

Former players, Troy Bond, Ray Martini and Adam Inglis also share this birthday.

You dont hold down the major key forward post in 3 winning Grand Finals (79, 81, 82) at only 188cm unless you had some ticker. Greatly underated player and made our "Mosquito Fleet" walk that much taller.

Good call Jarusa.

"Ticket Sellers"

Had tickets on himself.
That's what I heard from a former player.

Happy Birthday Mr Maclure. Your official nickname maybe "Sellars" but you'll always be "cement head" to me!!

Had more to do with his early career as a Sales Rep ("Sellers") also had a dabble in a few retail ventures with a furniture store which went "belly up".
