Give us a reason why JR was dropped and I'll take back my comments.

This is the biggest load of turd I've ever witnessed at the selection table.

The kid has 30mins on the ground, showed a bit in that time and gets replaced. I hope JR is friends with Simmo as Simmo will now need to be a mentor as well as our leading goalkicker.

For Fooks sake even Essendon* and Collingwood are giving there kids a run for the sake of development. Are we the only team who insists on rewarding mediocrity?

Essendon*'s first gamer got given the job on Buckley tonight.

Quite a difference. The kid got beaten, well and truly, but you reckon he won't have learnt something?

Give Dallas a game. It's a @#$%&! outrage.

I reckon he'd have learnt more had Buckley been playing midfield but I see your point.
Perhaps the Bullants need Russell this week.

IMO it's a disgrace. Before he played his first game Denis should've guaranteed him 3 senior games. I wonder if we finih bottom what Marc Murphy decides. Hmmm.

I can add any more, i agree with everyone, when all is lost, try the untried, even if they get betlted, experience is the winner. AT least some youngsters came in for him, but surely prenda could have been sacrificed.

Winning means nothing now.

His two kicks last week were bullet passes that went to a teammate.

Having players in the team that can get the ball to their teammates is a risk that is too great for the match committee to take.

Good decision to drop Russell.

The reverse tank is going along nicely.

Nice touch to drop Houla as well.

IMO good to give him a taste. Do you honestly think that Denis wouldn't have had a quiet word with him this week to tell him the long-term rationale? As I stated in my training report last week I think Denis likes JR and equally JR can see that playing with some of the hacks that make up our senior team may not be particularly enjoyable.

its at least a half win

houla (i do like him) should have been dropped weeks ago considering his input to the team.

shame about JR - but the positive is at least Simmo didnt get dropped again.
