I hope come trade time we can be good samaritans and help Stkilda ease their salary cap crisis......

The word is there are a couple of players looking elsewhere.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Really, we could be saving them from the possibility of massive fines and draft penalties.

P.S. special thanks to Hamill for making it possible.

McG is on bugger all and wont make a difference to them....

The money ship has sailed and some of them have been left behind....
Theyre going to let a couple of second tier go but that probably wont be enough....

Soon theyre going to have 5 stars and a load of shit with no second tier...

Fair 'nuff.

Well they've managed to re-sign the Clarke brothers - that should see them through to their next flag

What's with Leigh Montagna?

He was looking set to be a gun a couple of years back but doesn't seem to get a game. He'd be worth a crack in a package deal with Kosi. :D

I thought he only came in a package deal with Milne.

Kinda think the McGough remark was tongue in cheek....perhaps we could be asked by the Saints how to provide some cap relief...actually ask Dave Allison!

Though Thomas must have been a better contract manager than a coach...sorry...I must have been wrong

This isn't really news ....the important part is the "negotiating position" that we are in at the end of the season. If it's not "strong" it won't matter for nought....
(Quick...does anyone remember where we left Sam Cranage ...we need him back)

Brendan Goddard is being coached to be a third tier player, so that rules him out.

Solid Gold! But seriously, what is Leigh Montagna up to? Can he still play? Do we want or need him?

Leigh Montagna is one that springs to mind.

Is similar to Simmo.

would not want to go anywhere near Montagna- despite his ability..
would not be a good acquisition for the footy club.

Any player who comes to the Blues is automatically a "top bloke" and a future champion and all around good guy.
Except for Milne and Montagna. Does not matter if they put the navy blue on and kick 10 each a game they are still lower than than pond scum.

I wouldn't trade for Montagna because we already have a couple of that type of player on the list.
The allegations against him were manufactured and he didn't do anything except say thanks but see you later!
But Milne is a pig and if he came to the club that would be the last straw!
