You expect a Full Forward to kick on average at least 4 goals a game - then at 50% i'll take 2 goals a game. By the way 50% capacity is way too low - he's still running, marking, etc.........no excuses he is and i'm afraid always will be a headcase (hope he proves me wrong).

Well, the opposition basically target him as a major threat and throw 2-3 players back in front of him.

Not many full forwrds kick 4 goals a game that would make all full forwwards expected to be centurians each year... So 16 centurians a year is abit over the top....
Fev is carrying a groin... (not with his hand i dont think)

Can you please tell me who is averaging 4 goals a game this season?
Heard of flooding?

Dare say the G train is close. Fev put himself out there in the media. He wanted the money now show me the performance. Flooding....another excuse for a poor performance. What is he another "untouchable"?

G Train, Trderea, Williams, Lloyd, Tarrant, Hall are all avaeraging less than 4 goals a game. So are they all failing?

King L you cannot apply the flooding card today. freo play front running footy, they give you the chance to score heavily. When was the last time we scored 17 goals? Nope no flooding today no hassles for Pavlich.....what's his excuse for kicking 9 ?

Do you think there might have been a little bit of difference in the delivery of the ball to Pavlich in comparison to Fevola???

Did Pavlich have 3 guys jumping on him everytime he went for the ball?

Does the ball get kicked to Pavlich's disadvantage the way it does to Fev's???

And just to rub salt into the wound, when will we ever see Pavlich kick nine goals straight ever again?

We have an inexperienced and inept defence, midfield and forward line. There, I am sure I covered it. Now what do you propose we do... kick all the players out and fold the club :?

In all honesty, we are trying to find scapegoats to vent our frustration. As you saw today, there are some encouraging signs. Simpson being one of them. Pavlic is a star, so is Fev, except Fev is injured. He is not moving freely, he is losing confidence because of the injury he should not play unfit. That is my excuse; and I am sticking by it. :)

OK so this title says "Ryan Houlihan" yet nothing on the last 2 pages is about him. Maybe a title change should take place or this thread should be locked and a new one started.

Interesting that Houlihan can be dropped, but Kouta, Campo, Stevens and Fev can't be given a week off to give their injuries a rest.

I forgot all about Houla not playing until the end :P

I think Scotland and Mcgrath provided the run from defence and i was really fixated on Simmo , Fish and Waite.

Easy to forget Houla

Of couse we missed houlihan today- whilst he is a real trier when glen bowyer kicked into the opposition today twice in the space of a minute we missed houlihan -when we consistently missed targets and needed a bit of talent to hit a leading target we missed houlihan - cant believe a side with such a low talent base can afford to have houlihan playing in the vfl - dumb decision and right up there with dropping livo a couple of weeks ago against the dogs

Have to agree with Frank...while being no big fan of the "Hoop" he could have been useful in such a free flowing less physical game and I think Fev likes to see Houlihan with the ball....interested to see how many goals Fev has kicked courtesy of Houlihan over his career.

re: Stevens...doesnt look right and doesnt seem able to get to where the footy is..thought he was too loose on Crowley and played from behind...needs to be rested if injured...ditto for Fev....

Was Houla dropped to send a message or was it to find a little bit of touch? Seemed to work for Teague.

Didn't make much sense to me and for anyone to suggest we wouldn't miss him is crazy

Houla was dropped becuase he will be kept next season ...same goes for Teague and probably Scotland.

The others come under the catagory of ...if your so good prove it! (also if you are so senior, I shouldn't have to help you get up!)
