Houlihan has been killed by PAGAN.
The kid is our best bet and most skilfull player, yet we persist in playing him in the BP for run.
Seriously we lack skills/deliver up the ground not the f**cken back pocket.

I think Fev likes to see Houlihan with the ball....interested to see how many goals Fev has kicked courtesy of Houlihan over his career.

Hasn't kicked a goal in last 2 weeks with Houla either out or ? that bad he was dropped.

Did see the VFL game and while not great conditions for skills did appear to have found some touch and his skills really stood out. Certainly too good to be playing VFL when our skill level is so poor. If he can come back with improved touch and confidence as have Teague & Scotland then it may not be as stupid as it now seems.

How did he go under Brittain?
Last I remember he was set for the knackery.
Houlihan is learning how to be a balanced player. To understand that a defensive component needed to be added to his game.

Judge Houlihan in 2 years time.
To suggest Houlihan has been killed by Pagan borders on hysteria Surrey.

Dont let the facts get in the way of Surrey 'clueless' Blue..

He read that somewhere and thought he should post it....its not his fault it was malarkey!!!!.... as usual...Surrey has a history of posting Gary Malarkeys

Actually it was Ryan himself who asked to play down back.

Why does Stevens always get an out clause? He always plays from behind and he is always loose on his opponnent with injuries or not. Its happened all year has he been injured all year?

If he isnt injured then fair enough he doesnt deserve an out clause and his head belongs on the block with a few of his well paid teammates...I only go by what I read or get told and there were stories he was very ill and had lost weight and was also carrying a knee or the like...if those stories are BS then he is fair game.....
Scotty...speaking of fair game...you would have been impressed with Daniel Harris last week 30 touches , nine clearances...BOG...

Elwood, I hear that he's suffering from both - some form of injury and a loss of running capacity given his illness. the Club don't want to make an issue out of it though, as Pagan says 'if he's right to go out on the park, then he's right'. I think Stevo's professionalism is to blame.

I think he is our only possible choice as next captain and should be made so early 2006.

Here we go again! Plese tell me your 80+ so we can end this in a few years

Like I've said before yes a rate Harris and it looks like he had a top game but overall he has had a very average year after having a good year last season. Another Petrie?

Silky will be fine when Pagan decides to move him further up the ground. His silky skills and run are a must for us further up the ground.

Scotty, sorry mate long way of 80 years of age but i will let up on Harris when others stop bringing up the wondeful draft of 2000  Agree with you that both Harris and Petrie have been inconsistent....Petrie seems to have really struggled to cement a spot even though I think he is a more than handy player who I would be happy to see suit up in Blues jumper...Corey Jones is another from my favourite draft who also seems to have tailed off in performance...

On today's effort in pulling out of a contest with Franklin, he has gone straight to the top of the trade bait list.

Have to agree ...very weak effort and we wont win games especially finals with players who cant put the body on the line. Whateva Ryan Houlihan offers in skills it has to be subtracted from his weak contests at the footy....he is back to "blouse "status...

Back to 'Blouse' status ?? He never left it Elwood !!

I'll wait for the usual suspects to come out and defend him because he has 'silky skills'. Blah-dy blah blah.............. he's the softest player in the league yet only Carlton supporters cannot see that fact.
