Who started up forward? Where did Houlihan start and how is he playing?

It's been reported on SEN & Big Footy that Russell tackled Judd. Is this true?

Dockers in the lead at quarter time
14th March 2009, 16:45 WST

Fremantle coach Mark Harvey’s pre-season experiments are continuing but they are not paying the desired dividends against Carlton at a packed Hands Oval in Bunbury.

Harvey’s Dockers lead the Blues 6.1 (37) to 3.5 (23) at quarter time, but Carlton full-forward Brendon Fevola is starring for the Victorian side opposed to Chris Tarrant.

Fevola has booted all three of the Blues’ majors from four shots on goal as Tarrant, who normally plays as a key forward, struggles to come to terms with his new role in defence.

Antoni Grover has filled an unfamiliar role up forward but has had little impact on the game.

David Mundy and Matthew Pavlich started inside the centre square with Byron Schammer and no.1 ruckman Aaron Sandilands, with Harvey looking for bigger bodies around the contest.

Mundy also pushed forward to boot two goals for the term and is the Dockers’ only multiple goal kicker.

Good to hear Garlett is still interested and doing well, he's been the biggest suprise packet I have seen at the club for quite some time.
Nice to hear Yarran kicked a ripper goal, that's two games in a row...anyone sense a theme :smoking:

Also good to hear the young backline is doing well..

Tarrant in defence, WTF???

Ggrofunger you are a champ

Have heard (SEN) that Judd was breaking away with the ball and was beautifully tackled by Jordan Russell. Glad to see Russell's tacking skills are in order. Pity about the color blindness!

Blues big man Simon Wiggins was reported for rough conduct earlier in the second quarter after laying a tackle on Dockers rookie Greg Broughton and faces a nervous wait to discover his fate ahead of the round one clash with Richmond in a fortnight.

haha that is fukin classic. go JR you good thing.

Doesnt seem like a good game for us so far...losing, report...and i could be wrong but it seems to me that our accuracy has been pretty bad for a while now.

We always seem to have either the same amount of goals as behinds or more behinds...cant remember the last time i saw our scoreline at something like 12.4 76, for example.

I know theres rushed behinds etc but still...

How funny is this? ...... "Blues big man Simon Wiggins"

He is courageous and tough but definitely not a "big man"

Talk on BigFooty by someone claiming to be at the ground, that Grigg's night is over and he's having his hammy iced.

Is this true?

Thanks for the updates.

Can you confirm/deny Grigg's injury?

Sounds like a CRAZZZZZY day ........

Quote:
Fevola was robbed of a fourth major just seconds before half time when his shot from deep in the forward pocket hit the goal umpire and bounced back into play.

The umpires correctly ruled ‘play on’ as the ball had not crossed the goal line
