Very sage, Orangewhip... and bewildering.

We should win tomorrow on paper - but do does the club want us to? Hmm... lots on offer next year for a loss; a brief moment of short-term glory for a win.

Ahh... I don't even know what I'm talking about. I tipped Hawthorn, but bet on Carlton.

As you were...

We dont tank.. were just shit!!!
Were down at the bottom where we belong..and we cant afford to be beaten to the talent by Hawthorn who have more.

For those of us who want us to win, I hope you enjoy a victory if we manage to defeat the Hawks.

And for those of us who want us to lose, Jesus Christ is playing at Warrawee Park - Oakleigh on Sunday at 11am. :P

Sounds like a bad experience Jarusa, but you seem to have lived to survive, so I should be alright.

thats correct. Carlton don't have the worst list in the AFL. Its just that Denis Pagan has got them playing like they're the worst list in the AFL.

Didnt realise we were so bad we couldnt beat the 15th side without 3 of their best 5 players...

Yep.. those picks are really gonna help.

Apologies to all those infatuated with losing, but I can 100% guarantee a victory this weekend.
When it comes down to it, our team on paper is far superior to theirs across pretty much all the lines. Sam Mitchell's injury is a massive loss and robs them of some real midfield grunt.

We have really set ourselves for this one, and despite what anyone says I will be bluddy happy to get off the bottom of the ladder, despite the rewards that may/ may not come our way in November.

It would be a far bigger tragedy for us if we beat Hawthorn by say 4 points with a once off performance from what is possbily one of the worst Carlton teams ever.

I hate the spoon, makes me sick in the guts, but its a question of which option is the least painful one that we have to take in order to get out of this truly horrible hole we are languishing in.

After today, I hope that those that had any remote idea that somehow we are a team that is better than we are now have had a big big reality check.

We truly are shit.

We need a total rebuild

Big name players have to go.

We need as much young elite talent in this club in 2005 and also in 2006.

We need to make every single descision from here on in to be one that is made in the vein of a life and death choice for our club.

16th is the best position from which to do this, given the current afl rules.

Among others, Synbad sees it, Phoenix sees it and I see it, it really is that serious..
