not ovewr yet, we could still be the pies and dons.

the hawks have a tough few weeks ahead, but still have the dons and tiges themself.

owell.

as long as we dont tank, if we finish last it rather it be becasue we are that bad, and not because we are tanking

I understand why some wanted to finish last and their reasons.
However the thought of my beloved Blues holding the spoon makes me feel sick.
I'm not having ago at anyone whom has been advocating the tank.
I hope the turn around comes sooner than later cause I f!@#$%^g what has become of our team.
Regards Pedro.

Getting Picks 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 + 1st round PSD will help us get back faster than coming second last maybe only by a small amount but at the moment any amount of advanatge we get at the end of the year we need at this stage

I guess it had to come one of these years.

Oh and will Sam Newman be wearing one of these this week?

Come Draft time the spoon will be a relic and be replaced by some much needed injection of Talent ... unless our recruiters stuff it all up :?

The only way a team will have the whole list scrutinised / restructured and have every position under review is too finish last.

If we where to managed some wins to get us off the bottom or above 5 wins we would be putting back our chance to have a complete revamp of our list..

So expect major changes come year end and by bottoming out No one will be able to miss being scrutinised.

Also having a game and half clear of the Hawks mean we can now have a proper crack at the Bombers / Pies or Tiges wining one of three matchs unless the Hawks win another

We won't improve much next year unless we land a bigfish, but next year's draft with Gibbs now eligible makes it a draft equal of the Hodge-Ball-Judd year.So we'll eventually improve from here on in and our list is better than that of the Saints and Eagles before they bottomed out 5 years ago.

I'm confident the club will pick the right players this year, as Russell and Hartlett were the correct choices and the only thing the club needs to improve then is the finances.Which with a club as a popular as Carlton will take care of itself if they make the right choices.

Congratulations Carlton. In 50 years no-one will remember who you drafted at pick 1, but everyone will know how many wooden spoons you have collected.

well that would be 24 less than the Saints .... and 15 more premiership cups than the saints so memory is good in 2005

in 2055 i expect that the saints will increase there spoon count win a flag Garth then you can have a shot at the Blues History.

See. You just proved my point. Everyone knows how many wooden spoons a club has collected.
