For 1.2 Mill i would want them to Pavliche / J Brown and Judd / Cousins / any number of other gun Midfielder sadly neither Campo or Lance are currently worth half that combined amount. SO i guess if Livo was on the same as Campo or Lance yer he would becrucified lucky he is not even on a quarter of one of those 2 players salary wise..

I don't hate Livo, I respect the effort he puts in and I wish all Carlton players were as dedicated but be honest he was aweful today. He just does very stupid things like when he jumped on that guys back in the 3rd term when 2 Carlton players already took him to ground. Stupid.

The one where Whitnall was penalised for a push in the back?

That was funny. Livo pushed Whitnall in the back and Whitnall had a free kick given against him.

Can't complain about much though. I saw a graphic at one stage which said we were 20 free kicks to Hawthorn's 10. And our first goal was scored from a free straight in front.

In the last quarter his man jumped early on the lead and Livo followed the leader and jumped under the ball as well. Hawks goal game over. Please PJ don't let me relive anymore it hurt the first time.

Look he makes mistakes. Believe me I go to the games and it frustrates me too. But looking at his season on the whole, I think you'd have to say that he has been reasonable. You just seem more ready to criticise than to praise, TheGame, and Livo always seems to be a target of yours.

Franchina tried his guts out PJ but he wasn't up to it, same with Wiggins, same with Livo. He got his one year deal by default.

It's getting to the point, from the inside gossip I've been told, where players are going to be asking for pay cuts because of the pain and hurt they are experiencing from being crucified by internet geeks for not playing according to their pay packet.

Expect a massive drop in the salary cap soon.

So who should be full back at the moment?

What does that have to do with Livo trying his guts out?

Trying his guts out goes against what the team was trying to achieve today

I just think that some people are too harsh on Livo considering what he has been through and what he is up against each week.

Have any of you anti-Livo people ever actually played Full Back before?
Do you know how hard it can be sometimes?

I've been outmarked by the world's fattest footballer (who could barely get up to a slow walk) because his midfield were able to put the ball to his advantage. If the opposition midfield are much chop a backman's job is extremely difficult.

GETTING BACK TO LAPPIN..........

yeah.. thats fine. Collo should have a hard attitude.

Hutchy also claimed we were offering Kosi $600k

Look, Lappin's been a good player for Pagan. You'd think he'd deserve a bit more grace than Whitnall and Campo, who I wouldn't even offer deals to.. I'd tell them to find a new home or go back tot he suburbs.

its the non-leading leaders that Collo has to burn.

If they're hard on Lappin then so be it.... but Lappin's been better for us than a lot of others (though he's down at the moment).

Love your commitment to a fellow member of the full-back club PJ

As someone who's not a member of the fullback club....you're still right.

Livo is not even close to the biggest of our troubles

Yep, he out wrestled Quentien Lynch but he's piss weak.

I think I know the incident you mean and Williams just played it very well, had a mini break on Livo, but realised he would have to sit under it so he stopped before the ball, stopped Livo's momentum and then went forward again.....very smart...when Livo is a little more experienced he'll read the ball better and time his approach to the contest.

It was a skill some guy who played full-back for us in 90's mastered

Mark Williams is a little quicker than your average full-forward. Anyone remember Brad Pearce?

At risk of sticking to topic...........!

You can't do that to Matty Lappin.
