Don't get me started with that bloody show pony Cambell he's a great big.................

The shame of this post - shame on you George Harris......you probably never touched a football in your life however and I bet you have a sizeable roof over your toolshed.
Shame on all of you... If you think that as supporters you deserve better than we're getting, well with threads like this we deserve nothing.
It is incomprehensible that you could turn on Kouta like this.

All of you who are bagging the man can call this number

Its the Richmond membership. You can F@%&#! off over there because you are not welcome at Carlton anymore

Dark Navy please elaborate on the postives Kouta is providing us at this current stage and what he will be providing us next season?

I for one have not bagged the great man, i just believe his day has past and we need to move into a new era.

I refuse to bag an absoloute champion, but I do acknowledge that it is time for Kouta to hang up the boots.

He has nothing to prove.

Though i think sopme of our more mature Kids may start to stand up if they are out of the shadow of Kouta / Campo / Whits.

Also i think Stevo will improve once Campo / Whits are gone ... whether he goes on and become better for it is yet to be seen but in our current plight i would make him Captain for 2006 and then we can see if this has made him lead better and stand up or just be the same as what we have already endured. Wont be any worse than what we have endured over the past 2 years and if he stands up may make Stevo a better player and a good leader as well.... Time will tell what happens hard to tell with Stevo sometimes he bleeds more than a lot of players who have been at the club a lot longer... He speaks on the media better than most of our other players .. but then again sometimes he just seems to give up... that may be due to him being pissed off with the current leadership group but maybe we will see what happens in 2006 but changes need and will happen that is one thing for sure.

I would also have Stevens as skipper once Kouta vacates the position. I agree that he can shine as a leader once he steps out of Kouta's/Campo's shadow. Just my humble opinion but I reckon Nick has gone into his shell a bit because he doesn't want to upstage the incumbent leaders (and current icons) of a club where he's a relative newcomer. This isn't base on anything in particular... just a feeling that I get.

Hardly an honour, considering the winner of the medal 2 years ago now can't get a game at his old club.

Kouta will win this years B&F - what more can the man do.

It is an extreme honour to be judged the best Carlton player for the season.

Anyone knocking Kouta has no f...ing idea about the game or where the Blues are at. Leadership and Kouta's output are not an issue. The poor bastard is still featuring in our best week in week out and is playing on one leg. Have some respect and have a think about what is going on. Kouta is the last one that deserves critisism.

Most of you finger pointing flogs should be delisted as supporters. And the reason McKernan can't get a game is purely financial. Carton pay all his non senior match payments. If they play him North have to pay him and they just can't afford it.

'the poor bastard'???

FFS, the poor bastard's getting paid just about the highest salary in the AFL to be an unaccountable midfielder who's lost all the game-turning ability he ever had.

Part of taking the money (even if your employer is stupid to give it to you) is taking on the responsibility to deliver a performance commensurate to your salary.

Kouta can't anymore, so he shouldn't be immune to criticism. We all know how great he was, and we all know how ordinary he currently is.

Pointing out this fact, and suggesting that perhaps Kouta should do something to address this sad state of affairs is hardly high-treason.

It's just another sad reflection of the current state of our club.

HE IS LEADING THE B&F WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT? IF KOUTA IS ON 900K AND SIMMO IS ON 90K AND SIMMO GETS 15 KICKS A GAME SHOULD KOUTA GET 150 KICKS A GAME. IS IT A DIRECT CORRELATION SUCH AS THIS.

Kouta can't anymore, so he shouldn't be immune to criticism. We all know how great he was, and we all know how ordinary he currently is.

HE IS LEADING AND WILL WIN THE B&F! AGREE HE IS PLAYING ORDINARY BY KOUTA STANDARDS BUT EVEN HIS ORDINARY OUTPUT IS GOOD.

IT IS NOT A FACT

It's just another sad reflection of the current state of our club.

How well do his opponents go?
Kouta is a defensive liability and a very average leader of an extremely average team that really needs to turn over the list to go forward.

Kouta has been part of a leadership group that has let down the club in a major way.

Why should Kouta be beyone criticism????

Is it just me, or was Kouta playing really well at the start of this year and it has only been since he is alledgedly playing through an injury that his form has suffered?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but what about playing him in the goalsquare as a FP(a la A.Lynch) next to a leading Fev. He would take a top backman, can take a pack mark & doesn't have to run so much.

I think its just you..... :P
Look, every player has a niggle... EVERY PLAYER.. Kouta hasnt got an injury of any note...
Its just that he is over the hill and he doesnt have fire in the belly...
He would retire if it wasnt for the cash in my opinion.
He shuffles around the middle of the ground like Cliffy Young.

He was unaccountable in the early games he is unaccountable today...

Nothings changed.
