Couple of points here.
1. I would hope no ground in the 21st century will ever be the same as Moorabbin, Junction oval, etc...
2. How can you play proper football if you keep slipping over or are wary about hitting the ground the wrong way.

Notice the rotation of the ball or the float of the ball when the roof is closed.
3. Telestra Dome takes 30% more out of an individual's body compared to any other stadium. 30% is nothing to laugh about when you put 5 years of AFL rigours in some-one's body, let alone 10 years.
4. Players have every right to whinge about their "work environment" , especially when it's their sole income and they are full time. Sure you would whinge about your office if it didn't have "heating/aircon".

First of all a couple is 2 not 4 but more specifically
1. It was only 10 years ago that football was played in these conditions. Those players coped and on less money with less rotation
2. Just flower play the game without worrying about the surface. Bulldogs seemed to do a good jjob of playing on it ion Sat, diito Adelaide for the 1st half and then the Kangas. Didnt seem to inhibit their performance too much
3. That is just a bullshit statistic that cant be proven or disproven . NEXT
4. Roof tilers dont have aircon or heating, neither does gardeners or concreters. You have a grass surface that is safe (no major injuries despite all the moaning). Play on it or @#$%&! off to the WAFL
