Maybe so Effes but that doesn't mean players that have given good service, displayed loyalty etc to the club over a lengthy period don't deserve to be treated at least with some respect by the club and its supporters alike.

How about this view: To hold out for extra, possibly undeserved cash, or extra, possibly undeserved time on the contract, isn't that being disloyal to the club by damaging it's ability to secure other quality players, and getting something for which you're not entitled?

Loyalty goes both ways, and in my book, getting something undeserved is disloyal.

Why is it undeserved? Lappin has on the whole been fantastic for this club for several years now. His form has dropped at times this season but I'm sorry KK I'm a believer that past service has to count for something. Undeserved time and cash? I think Lappin deserves a two-year deal KK, but I wouldn't offer him three years. Maybe offer two with an option for a third or something like that. I think that you also need to remember that players and Lappin in this case will naturally look out for themselves financially and I won't blame Lappin for that because I think most people would do the same thing in the same situation. But Lappin has rejected overtures from other clubs before where he might have made more money so I don't see it being too much of an issue KK.

You know what big Synner? You don't have a clue either how much he's on or wants! You pretend you do and claim you do but you know shit Synbad.

Yeah that's right Synners we're shit! Now go out there like I told you and find us our new leaders and the best kids in the country who will lead us into the future instead of wasting your time on here.

According to you Nero we dont need leaders we have Campo Lappin Lance and Kouta....

We have a very talented list.. only need tweaking and Lappin should be signed up for another 3 years... (Too bad you have no clue what hes even asking for when you say that)
Plus you reckon the club shook hands with Lappin but then re negged cos Harford said so just before Malouf took him to the cleaners on it.

Dont you feel sucked in????

Nero jibes don't work Synners as I've already proven you to be historically incorrect and anachronistic.

Anyway Synners if I'm Nero you can be Commodus, another Roman emperor. Deal Commodus?

I think youve been watching Gladiator too much.....
I actually studied the classics at Monash.... plus i used to love Epic Theatre..which was straight after the wrestleng with Jack Little...

Plus if i were a Roman Emperor they would have named a better car than the commodore after me...

2years for Skinny is a good deal, both for him and the club. For him to press for a 3rd is undeserved in my books.

I don't know what Campo's asking for, but I think if you halve what he asks for, then he'd still be asking a lot. He's just becoming deadweight lately, and it's dragging the whole club down. We need to float!

Interesting that others are starting to notice what's been going on for awhile. It's not just us. The heat's really on the three senior players out of contract - they've been copping it a bit the past couple of weeks. And none of it seems to reflect too well on them, which may, in a small way, help the club make the hard decisions.

I have a feeling the club has already made the decisions required and just looking for support. Support I won't offer by the way, but that is me, I have some kind of humanity in me towards certain long standing players of my footy club and don't like seeing people treated like this.

How would you support the club anyway...????

And are you really going to be "lost" if players arent re-signed????

Cos id like to see that ...

25 years of good "membership" money for starters, but not that the club give a shit about members anymore. You might think that losing Surrey is no big deal but for every Synbad there is a Surrey out there. (god help us).

Surrey but on TBV you said youd leave supporting the club if any of those blokes were sent away....

So youre a soft supporter...

Id love to see you volunteer to do anything for the club.

Why dont you stand up at the AGM and ask some tough questions????
