Would have to be the round 22 game against Richmond in 2000 i think, when we were decimated by injury in the midfield (Kouta and Ratts out) and Scotty ripped Richmond a new arsehole with four goals from the midfield. That is the Camporeale i grew to worship, attacking, line breaking, goal kicking midfielder.

I will always remember the way he stood up in the Essendon* game when Kouta did his knee ( 2000 ) and the running goal he kicked from the centre dodging and weaving his way through opponents.
He could be so damaging, it's such a shame to see the way his game has deteriated.

Also the miracle against Essendon* when we were missing Kouta, Silvagni & Bradley – and had Vance in the side  . Broke the game open with a patented Campo running goal and he and Ratts showed great – dare I say it – leadership to get us over the line.

he played two absolute rippers against Port Adelaide at AAMI (2000 & 2001?). In one of them, a Port player was charged with striking and got two weks, but Scotty just ignores the tag and keep on running.

That was Francou the dirty dog!! He was having pot shots at him all afternoon.
He played a great game against the Crows last year at aami, that was just about his last decent game.

The Geelong game last year in round 2!

He was great that day with a stack of possesions and 4 goals! 2 of which were from the centre square!

Also his 45 possesion game against Melbourne in 2000 has to get a mention.

I think he's been pretty consistent over the years, lots og good games, maybe not the standout's though

1995 game in Perth where he ironed out Worsfold :D

7 goals at Optus against Fremantle maybe 1997

A game against Adelaide maybe 2000 where he and Bradley had about 35 touches each just running behind the man with the ball tolaunch attack after attack. They were like quarterback's. Yes I know thats downhill skiing but it was brialliantly effective.

Cashi, you have posted in two of these and shown that you can act like a peanut.

When he gave a crap and could play, he had a pocket at the G where he would never miss, he would kick it over his shoulder and behind himself... wherever and he would smash six points through... Usually against the filth or scum... Particularly the filth...

Sorry Tommi... I am using your full stops...

I recall a game I attended against Port Adelaide at Optus in 2000 when Campo was credited with no less than 41 touches.

Craig Bradley had 45.

Carlton won by about 100 points.

Those were the days!

Does anyone else recall that game?

My most memorable Campo moment will be the day he packs up his crap and loicks his locker forever...

Used to be one of my favourite players but that was soooooooo long ago...
Now i see him as a selfish money hungry @#$%&! wit!
Could have really helped the club at its lowest period if he just remembered sometimes you have to give something back.

Thats ok im happy here.....

It is my favourite Campo moment right???

Well i just gave it to you ... i looked into the future and chose my favourite.

Im not goin to pretend it was one of those games a brilliant midfield worked hard to give him room for him to play well.
Its not like he is recipricating back to the club and the younger kids is it?

He's been a terrific player for the Blues and it's terrible the way people are now heaping shit on a 200 game player,AA player,B and F winner and premiership player. He wants to finish his career as a Carlton player and that says his love for Carlton is greater than those who bag him.

Well if he loves the club and wants to be a one club player...he would sign the contract...

unbelievable how dumb some people are... and what they perceive...

He wants 400k x 3 now settling for 2 years .....

yeah loves the club....

if he loves the club he will go out there and be a leader to our younger players to take example of in a similar way he learnt from champions who made him look better than what he is.

the way he conducts himself in terms of defensive pressure and marking his opponent is no better than what a kid could do at a 4th of the contract campo is currently on

Lappin wants a similar deal.... x three

then add Lance who rejected a 300k contract and Kouta on many hundreds of thousands and you know why Denis has noses out of shape and why the club is making a tough stance.

This is ridiculous.. theyre already overpaid....we shouldnt have to continue going up the same old road with the same old jjokers.
