Thought we might start another Lance thread focusing on what Lance has offered us in terms of entertainment since his debut.

The standout moment for me was Lance dobbing that goal from in front of the MCC members during the final moments of the 1999 Prelim Final. I have never felt such excitement before in my life, until five minutes later when we had won by a point.

Good save there mjonc

Agree with that moment, I was sitting at that flank and was nearly in tears of joy when he slotted it.

Yes - superb effort from a teenager.

8 goal game at Princes Park against the Bulldogs.

The West Coast game over there when he kicked a goal right on 3 quarter time after copping a wack from Jackovich.

the day we trounced the lions at the gabba. 2000? 9 goals to lance a P.B.

kouta was awesome that day two.

lance was brilliant at times back then.

i really liked one of his goals against the pies in round 21? 1998 showed a few goals the ball ran around em and slotted it from 45m.

heck his game against sydney this year was sensational too.

A shepherd he laid in the second Coll game of 2001. Held back 2 Coll players from Hickey who goaled.

Agree with Gez…he was great in the Syd game this year.

I actually think he's a good chance for the B & F.

the 9 goals at the gabba is a standout.

many people knock lance but through those years you look at the delivery he got from champion midfielders who sadly cannot be anywhere compared to some of them we have at the moment.

That goal in the 99 Prelim was amazing! A truely special one!

The last one of memory to me was this year in the Wizard Cup against Melbourne. Glad I went to that game because he absolutely tore them apart!

8 goals against the Dogs at Optus was very special stuff indeed. Had tears in the eyes that day thinking of what a talent we'd landed.

That was after Lappin said he hadnt looked after his body and its about time he came into a season fit.
The problem with our players is they can make sentences with the words ' kettle ' 'pot' 'black'.......

Fancy a guy who had to be shipped off to the fat farm telling another guy off for squibbing... who gets told off by another guy who is 30 that wont sign a two year contract....

Just goes to show where were at....

I mentioned this in the Houla thread but if you watch carefully that frustration was directed at the UMPIRE not at Houla. Don't believe Tony Shaw he has no clue.
