Well summarised Mrs Caz.

I wonder if Surrey had a problem when Lance would literally roll down to the club 5kg overweight every pre season.

Bloody oath I would, but he did try to do the right thing and apart from the this year, has been injured. Lets not just see it one way, shall we. It amazes me how many people aren't willing to see it both ways. I don't favour any party but look at things objectively, that is my downfall here.

what is the connection between KPMG and Carlton?

I've read all of this thread and still cannot find the answer to this fair and legitmate question asked by Korn, does anyone care to elaborate ?

Whilst this response was tongue in cheek, it does seem to be the most appropriate to date unless someone wants to explain the relationship.

What injuries does Lance get after the season ends in September and pre season starting in November? The only reason he presented himself in good nick this pre season is because he got a huge wake up call.
Have you ever thought that a contributing factor to his past injuries had something to do with the condition he presented himself in November? It is quite ironic that Lance decided to present himself fit for this pre season and he has had no injury problems.

From what I can gather the club has made a reasonable offer, he and his management have decided to fish around. The only reason clubs are biting is because his next contract will be at what the market thinks he is worth. Nowhere near $500,000.

I'd suggest posters would be lining up to help you out Sheik, with your exquisite people skills. :?

Lance will be very valuable next year wherever he ends up, but I reckon he'll fall into old habits the year after that.

So do I!
But Lance being shopped around???!

Who was having lattes with Hamill and Grant Thomas...FFS people wake up to the real world. Whitts thought he was worth more.....the club said go for it!

He got a reality check.

HAs put in a good season as his contract is up and the reality check came at the right time.
If someone offers the "world" for any player I hope Carlton take it .

If Lance wats to go...adios...if he wants more money...well he has had a good view of what others are offering and what's expected of him....
It's naive to think that he shouldn't weigh up what he's worth now and whether he's better off somewhere else. Same goes for CArlton in weighing up what others want to offer
SIMPLE AS THAT
...and the best bit.....
"Negotiation" ball is in our court....no PSD pranks!

Anyway, back to the topic...

Kouta has come out in the HUN today and pleaded with the club to keep Lance.

SB i have defended Lance for a very long time. It has stopped this year. Your assertion that the "You cannot blame the players for being down against the club, can you?" should be changed to:

"You cannot blame the club for being down against the players, can you?[/

Any way you cut it, 19 wins out of 80 whatever is f*****.

Why does he have to do through the press :? ?
Surely the club is listening to our captain.

Its just one of the big 4 accounting firms.

Its a merger between Peat Marwick International (PMI) and Klynveld Main Goerdeler (KMG) in 1987.

Sheik, it is just likely that KPMG was mentioned to give validity to the post. It is more than likely "someone who knows Lance" or similiar. So KPMG don't actually have the Carlton connection.

Just a guess.

St Kilda were able to keep Kosi for a figure below market rate.

I don't swallow this market rate shit.

Pay him a fair and reasonable price for his services. That does not equate necessarily to 'Market Rate'.

Quit waving them so fast guys, I can't tell who has the bigger one... :)

Adrian DeLuca works for KPMG, as I found out when I did as Jarusa suggested and searched for KPMG on TBV..... there, that was easy... :)

On Topic - I am firmly in the "Lance is too good for us to lose" camp - but I agree that it appears he needs to move on to produce his best....

Yes.
Very good of the Captain to be pumping up Lances tyres.
Hopefully increases his currency.

Some say its all about Marc Murphy
Some say its not all about Marc Murphy
Some say its all about horses
I say its all about TUGS

The question here is...

Is this even about football any more?
