Norman is too lazy and failed to judge the drop of the ball on Saturday so I wouldn't go with Norman. And that's despite him having greater speed over the ground.

Has Norman put on any weight since he arrived at the club? Looks as skinny as when he walked in and may be due to his poor attitude.

Death by gas or death by lethal injection, your dead either way. Time to start looking outside of those options I think.

Livo gives it his all but at the end of the day I just don't believe he has what it takes. Norman has the physical tools but not the mental ones apparantly.

Livo will be better next year he still has heaps of improvement in him. plus he will get bigger and stronger. I doubt his kicking and play making skills will change but thats not his job his job is to stop the opposition teams fullforward.

I wish I could share your optimism. If he gets bigger and stronger he will only get slower. Besides that fact I see his worst problem is that he can't read the play or the flight of the ball.

He has a 1 year deal so we will see what happens next year. Maybe Setanta and Hartlett might step up next year and play down back.

Norman is a better player but just doesn't take his football serious, i think both are not good enough in AFL level well not in the backline for Livingstone anyway, he would have got a three year deal if he was. I still think Carlton will blood a new Fullback in the next few years maybe from some guy in this draft or who is playing in the Bullants.

Put Livo up forward he will blitz them once he starts to kick goals and marks up there.

Livo was disgraceful today........he really lost me today, bad choice of options, bad disposals, bad free kicks against, bad interference with teammates - bad, bad, bad. We're in real strife if we don't find ourselves a decent FB....and Norman ain't that answer, he certainly demands a place in the team and occasionally a match-up might see him at FB (i.e. Mark Williams, Matera, Medhurst, Lucas), but that'd be the exception, rather than the norm.

Livo tries his guts out works to team instructions and gets the most out of his modicum of talent - norman does none of this
Livo no star but did you notice the holding the ball decision where livo got the tackle which directly contributed to a goal - did you see livo standing up to stafford who was trying to intimidate the carlton backman early
The coach obviously thinks he is going ok - with re-signing him for another year - and not doubt he will be playing on lade or primus next week
How about backing our young players rather than knocking them

Livo will slowly get better as he gets more experience. Give the bloke a full season without injury and then judge him. He has a long way to go but he tries so hard and from where he was he is vastly improved.

What we need down back is a brute who can match the likes of Pavlich, Tredrea etc. Maybe it'll be Hartlett, maybe Hurn. I think Livo can still have a place there, taking the #3 forward.

Better rethink that one mate, Hartlett at 195cm is a chance, Hurn at 188cm is no chance at all !!

Piss Norman Off.He is an idiot if half the stories about him are true.Livo was poor against the tiges. He seems small for full back too.Possibility that he may take the 2nd or third forward. He has signed a deal so he stays.Norman has become a permanent Bullant.

The problem with Livo is he is too short to play on the big gorilla's and too slow for the second tier of opposition forwards......

He will not get bigger, if anything he will get a bit stonger and leaner so that he will be a little quicker...
