hi, I was extremely impressed with Adam Bentick yesterday. He is the in and under type player that we have been lacking since Ratten. Good build too. Hope he continues on.

10 hard ball gets, not sure how much game time he got, but that is great even for a full game.

Hope he keeps developing.

I've been saying it since his debut that give the boy game time and let him show us what he can do. Why he hasn't been played before Johnson i have no idea, but I think he is here to stay now that Pagan had given him a plug on SEN.

needed to add the muscle which he seems tpo have plus i thought mhe moved much better on saunday - Pagan does not plonk players in and leave them, he does it slowly, a taste here, a bite there, until they are ready. Everyone bags Denis for his development but then we see the kids come on. denis seems to me to be handling them very well. Simmo, Waite, walker, AB now, carrots.

Think people miss the canvas denis is painting.

I must agree here. Pagan has done well with developing the young boys.

Yeah and Bryan is the next Madden
Carrazzo is the next Diesel
Fisher is the next Sticks
Eddie Betts is the next Jezza
Wiggins is the next Nicholls

Maybe we should see what Bentick is like when he has played about 80-100 games instead of less than 10 before comparing him to 3 time B&F, Premiership and All-Australian players. At the moment he is lucky to be on the list but did play nicely yesterday.

Denis has how many U18 and reserves titles? I would say he knows how to develop talent, but i would also say as a supporter I would of preffered to see a couple of youngsters get a better run through the middle part of the year when it was clear certain other regulars were not up to it.

It was great listening to Dennis this morning on SEN, very happy man.

Well, Billy said "G-Banger" a few times, then backed it up with some very humourous talk about "Froffies". This went on for a while. Then he very jovially pronounced a few soccer players names incorrectly. That was hilarious.

He and Watto then had a laugh at Radar, making fun of the way he talks. Radar then gave a really long introduction to the next interview guest, leaving less than 3 minutes for the actual interview before they had to go to the 8 o'clock news.

Watson pretended to feel passionately about something and got up on his high horse. He said Sheedy was a genius, and apparently Jobe is the next Courtney Johns.

Bill said G-Banger a few more times, and then had a couple of froffies.

Then KB came on.

It truly was brilliant radio.

On that basis, Bruce Doull would have been gone at the end of 1970.

Lucky b/c he was overlooked in the draft, came through the rookie list and has struggled to get a game in a team that is sitting last on the ladder.

I'm not saying that he doesnt derserve his chance and I like what I see so far but I think that he is a lucky guy to be playing AFL football. Not undeserving lucky but fortunate lucky.

Lucky? He's a second year player learning his trade. He's unlucky not to have played more games given his performances in the seconds, Darknavy. The boy will face a lot of pressure over the next few years, with Blackwell potentially fighting it out for his spot, but for now he's finally been given some game time...

lets not forget that he was last in the team when beaten by Jude Bolton at the Swans, who killed everyone that game.

The lucky one has been Brett Johnson, not AB. And that's all set to change.
