Nice one BH - just like the alleged comment by Monica that she was going to vote republican because the democrats had left a bad taste in her mouth.

Sheik surely you are not saying this is a one off by Kouta. He has had a few down games which everyone picks apart but never seems to get credit for the good ones.

Shit no, he's capable of playing more consistent games but grabbing the thing by the scruff of the neck may not be too often. Problem is that he's on the wrong side of 30 and the body is showing serious signs of wear and tear. Gotta feel for the guy, he just can't do it like he used to, that's a fact of getting old.

Kouta has looked very dis-interested in most games this year. When his younger teammates are attending to chase he just stands there. He has really disappointed me as a leader of the club. You could tell he is half hearted, it is extremely obvious. Forget about sentiment everyone, talk about the now. You know I am right.

Totally disagree with this. Can only think of one half where he looked "disinterested". He has never been a chaser, but relied on his quicker team mates to cover for him ... something which has been sadly lacking from some this year. Peter Bruckner commented around the time of the Darwin game that Kouta appeared to be carrying a groin injury which was causing him to pull up.

No, but it makes a ten become an eleven.

On Kouta, I thought his workrate was the best it has been for 12 months.
He ran hard to the wings to create an option where he has played the corridor of recent.
Winning and being competitive gets a bit of fire into the old fella and I thought he was exceptional yesterday.
