I was there at VFL Park waverley when we drew with them 8 goals 13 apiece when Jezza had that drop kick at the end of the game from about 90 metres out
I was there at the replay where the spiflicated us and were cocky as all hell about their grand final chances in that year(almost as cocky as Essendon* in 1999)
I was there at the "G" in 1972 in the highest scoring GF in history where walls big nick jezza et al defeated the tigers in a goal scoring orgy
I was there in 1973 GF .and saw the earth move when fowler took out deliberately big John and balme do some of the worse deeds Ive ever seen on a football field
I was there in 1980 at vfl parkin the finals where Percy tried to land one on jewell after Rudy Webster taunted the carlton players and they again smashed us physically and mentally.
I was there in an early 1982 final where the thuggery of the tigers won the day.I was there at the 1982 GF where THE SHORT -PRICED FAVOURITES -THE Tigers got beaten by the Blues in a Helen DEMIDENKO moment.
I was there in 1997 at PP where we had about 2 fit men left after being thugged by the tigers and they won and knocked us out of the finals

I hate the tigers and our players should too - they are the enemy and I nearly despise them as much as I do sheedys mob
Big chance to knock them out of the finals tomorrow -Bloody well grasp it Blues

Frank i was there in 69 and sat through the worst damn final until 93, I was their in 72 also the greatest final of all -(yes 70 was great but only for a half 72 was ancing from go to who! During thre 60's and 70's i hated the tigers, i hated Hafey and sheedy and Bourke and Clay and Bartlett and so many others, Barrot and Balme and so on. I loved Hart except when we played them but the rest could rot in hell!

I'd love to severely dent their hopes tomorrow, Oh God would i!

I was also there Frank, but it was Helen D'Amico at the game I was at and she sat in the row in front of us so we had an exceptionally close view of proceedings.

Demidenko was the disgraced author -Damico was the one johnno dragged by the scarf off the field with little else on
Agree also Dannyboy richmond sides of that era had great players but they were filthy - a bit like that Essendon* side of 84/85 who would first win the fight and then win the footy - sheedy of course common denominator
I cant stomach the pious platitudes of Neil Balme these days as he effectively de railed the career of the great Geoff Southby for years.
72 gf SUPERLATIVE PERFORMANCE BY BLUES AND TACTICAL acumen of Nick to the fore that day
Everyone talks about brilliance of 1970 GF Dannyboy but agree 1972 was very hard to top given it was October 7 when it was played after the earlier draw -we were underdogs - the game was a goal fest and one day before a special Dardew birthday
FIRE UP TOMORROW BOYS -we are playing the old enemy

Dito to Frankie.....we are capable of winning this game and we owe the Tigers a few paybacks....especially for Geoff Southby who they finished as a player courtesy of the then Tiger in Neil Balme.

Wait to you lot get to that stupid groung tomorrow. Just got back from Bulldogs / Lions at the Dome - the surface is a complete patchwork quilt, the players aren't slipping over like usual but the bloody ball doesn't bounce properly and just sits up for blokes out of the contest to run onto. There's one pocket which is totally F....ed!!!!!!!

They shouldn't be playing football there. And never finals in four weeks.

Collo your stadium is a disgrace, hang your head in shame.

Second that Juzz

Well done Frankie - got them up for a win. I would only add I was there the day the drunken ferals applauded Kouta's knee injury which is just another reason to hate the bastards.

Sniping Thug Sheedy, Sniping Thug "oh what a great football manager (NOT) who will only ever be remembered for king hitting from behind the 2nd best FB of all time " Balme, and the talentless no name no brain thug Mal Brown from SA who thugged Trevor Keogh ...

None of the 8 premierships the Blues have won in my lifeteime have ever been won by using the gutless sniping tactics of that club and the one king hypocrite thug went to.

cept for when the Dominator took out Dippa in 87' ...................but i guess dipper was aking for it. When they asked the dominator about the incident he reckons he did it coz Dipper was getting too much of the ball.

True though Headplant we generally are pretty clean.
