I think that Cory Mcgrath has really let himself, and his chances of being retained, down after his performance against Richmond. His mistakes, especially two runs down the ground that went to no one, rebounded, that then led to two richmond goals may have sealed his fate. I hope not, i think he does have some great talent, but with us looking to the future and some good kids in the reserves, there may just not be enough room for him. What do the rest of you think?

I didn't see yesterday's game.
But I would keep him, I think he still has a bit to offer.
Regards Pedro.

I think he's definitely in the group that are struggling to cement a place in the side.

Crap player who always makes the same mistakes. Surely he can't be part of our future plans
Like Livo every time he gets the ball you hold onto your breath

I'd be pretty sure that he'll be retained, overall I think he's been serviceable for us..

Yesterday was frustrating though, the good part was that he gave us some real run off half-back, the bad part was that he held onto the ball for too long and lost the whole forward-line. This happened twice.

Will be 27 at the start of next season. Given the natives are going tribal over a 29 year old Lappin, one would expect a similar voodoo dance around the bon fire with McGrath's head in the boiling pot.

Should be retained - during that horror 12 game losing streak, he was consistently good. He did make some errors yesterday, but shouldn't be linched for it - it's just one game.

I don't think he will be part of a grand final team but there are probably 5 or 6 others that I would get rid of before him.

Cory's a good interim player. We need guys with some experience there.

I think a few people are unnecessarily harsh on him. He has the odd off game but by and large his disposal is good and his reading of the play is also serviceable.

And unlike many, he lands tackles and makes them stick.

Cory should be one of the last players that won't play in the future premiership side/sides to be let go as he has a fantastic work ethic, and is very servicable.

Fom what i have heard he is the most committed player at training well he did when he was playing in the Bullants.. He should be retained IMO we need people who show good example also in training.. Also i think he has been pretty servicable and been good in several matches ... there are many others who are way out in front of Corey who will go.....

McGrath is one of the large group of players that we have on our list who just aren't up to the task and must be replaced asap. He has to be given his marching orders (whether that be trade or delist) for us to improve our playing list, there has to be casualties when you finish last and he will be one of them.

i dont rate Mcgrath at all. Tends to panic and just bomb the ball long
For all his pace he doesnt seem to have any evasive ability at all.

At least he isnt soft though. That sort of makes you think doesnt it. Houla is soft as butter but skillful as hell and he is a punching bag for fans yet McGrath is tough-as-nails but woeful skills and we bag him as well. Will we ever be happy. Me thinks not

even tho he made those two bad mistakes - his man hardly got a touch all day - and karakouer kicked five agst us last time.

I think mcgrath will survive - he has proven to be a reliable back pocket and has allowed the great carazzo to play on the ball which has been revolutionary!!!

I am still worried about campo playing back pocket - he is so loose on his man - we are very lucky richmond r so crap that they didnt expose this - also campo refuses, like houla, to ever cut across a leading forward. I dont know if we can afford that.
