I can't wait for the next premiership, Bret Thornton and Nathan Buckley  will be on the dais collecting the trophy and Synbad will be on the net saying what a bucnh of morons we are for not seeing the bigger picture, we need to tank, tank. We need talent, talent, talent. We need to lose to win. Yeah but we are winning will be the return cry, only to be rebutted by ...

Were a gun football side.
Talent is there... only a matter of time and the premiership will come our way.

I agree with you and BM BB2005.

Like you say you cant go from winning the wizzer to boiled lollies.

..... Wizzer proves were a great side.. just abit of tweaking required.....

We're all getting so bitter and twisted that it's almost more enjoyable watching that than the footy these days!

These next four weeks are going to be hilarious. All the different scenarios that could develop (especially the Collingwood game, that is going to be comedy gold).

The battles between the Synborg's and Surreybot's are going to make for some fine comedy.

see Synbad's army is doing an extraordinary job guarding the flanks from any lingering happiness.

Do you pay these blokes or what sailorman?

Leave Synbad alone, he's just looking at the bigger picture, which is what we all should be doing. Good win on the weekend, just means we'll have to sweat longer over the next 4 rounds.

I'm expecting my brown paper bag in the next day or so, I'm on commission based pay

club 29 you said you want to to win every game from here on end as a supporter? then you must be losing focus on the bigger picture . If your wish comes true, witch l hope it does not, l hope that makes you feel warm and fuzzy while knowning that it's been a waste of a season and to make things worse get nothing in the early draft selections. I hope that it makes you sleep better at nights having known we could miss out on picks 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 .

Rodent you must be mellowing in your older age, normally you would rip someone's comments like this into shreds

But you are spot on. Some people find it hard to grasp that ONE of the reasons we are in this situation (ie. 3 wins for the season), is because we have missed out on early draft picks in previous years. Why would you want to jeopardize that again (ie. picking up a PP, early pick and 1st PSD) after a year that has already been written off? Are we that short sighted?

Tell me about it. This draft system keeps messing with my head. My heart says one thing, and my head another :?

You misunderstand.
I want us to win the rest of our games and make something out of this year.
Anything less will have been a waste.
I really think that winning 6 and a half games will be a fantastic salvage job for this club and this season.

GO BLUES!!!!!

I dont want to be a loser .. i want to be a winner!!!!!
I want bragging rights!!!!...
why anyone would want 2 of the best 3 kids in the country over a couple more wins is beyond me.

This is correct. I don't understand why people say "you are not happy we won" - of course I am happy. I was jumping up and down and I sang the song until I lost my voice... I just try to put things into perspective, i want to be able to sing the song more then 6-7 times a year... dammit. I want the bloody picks - even if it hurts this year.
Some of the same people who are now going overboard in their praise of the team after one win, are the ones going all doom and gloom when we loose and want to sack everybody. I am one of those who do not. I try to stay balanced instead and look at things how they are not how i wish it should be. Again - the draft system has to change. Get rid of the PP and introduce a lottery system for groups of 4 teams. Then we don't have to have these discussions....

In order to be a winner, you must be a loser.

I get the drift.

Like some fantastic comedy from the Jaruborg.... that always keeps' bogging up'.
I notice not too many statistics displaying how good Campo is lately...

But you can perhaps bog up with his stats from this week?? :D
Just somehow put some sort of spin that we never could have won that game without Campo.....(You know.. like you usually do.....)

Please don't mention the bog word after the weekend I just had.

You were a bit quiet last night Synners. I hope you have plenty of energy left for these last four weeks, it is going to be fun to watch.

I know you love stats, ya big lug.

 wonder what the stats for that are exactly? 8)

now now lets not rationalise this to 'we all enjoy just some enjoy it more than others' pig crap.

some people enjoyed the win free of cobwebs

others are shittting themselves cos the world will end

forthwith they shall be known as the chickenlittle supporters

'the sky is falling the sky is falling'

I love Marc Murphy, I freely admit it. If this was the 60's I'd grow my hair long wear a paisely shirt and sing songs about marc (though I will be careful not to offend by putting marc and flower in the same sentence).

I understand logic - now don't go being all suprised its true - I understand the win is a loss is a win the future is rosy only if the present is bleak sort of Puritantical vision the draft has bestowed upon this club.

I own my own navy blue hairshirt and cat o' nine tails and flog myself regularly each and every time I think of winning - winning has become the new pornography, wishing to win the new masturbatory past time of supporters with boiled lollies for brains.

I get it all, I'm scarred emotionally I get it so much.

I've leapt off the balustrade and joined the swelling ranks of losers are grinners.

But gee it was good to win

Now I promise I'll stop and dress in black and go all somber and say five Marc Murphys and 10 PSD's. I'll be good, I really will now can I please please please still b ecounted as a Bluesey woosey supporter.

you know this world really is a mad place. 8)

there's nothing wrong with masturbation, per se. But, as you well know danny, it provides merely a temporary release.

And you kinda regret it afterwards, if you grew up a good catholic. Like, for example, Marc Murphy.

What we're after here is a genuine relationship with long, slow and meaningful sex.

People can take their quick wank late-season home&away win against an injury-riddled team. I'll take the longterm relationship.

Hmmm. Anyone else uncomfortable with this metaphor?

Never!

Now John who's doing the tuggin and whose seeing the intricate patterns of real love? hmmm.

see the wanker thinks the world will end if everything doesn;t fall into placve just 'so'.

Then there are the visionaries who see the way the world lies and tell us to look beyond the cave walls.

But

the seers have no eyes

can Marc Murphy see? Can you or me?

ps. if any of that made any sense book yourself into a clinic.

I think Marc Murphy can see.

And if he sees this thread, he's going to be on the first plane to Brisbane.
