Aaah, to be brutally honest, no.

We have to turn that list over completely and inject some talented youth into it who want to play for the jumper, not the pay cheque.

No-one's worth keeping? Turn it over completely?

If as many are suggesting our next tilt at the flag will be in 5-6 years. Does this mean any player over 24 we should cull as they won't be part of the next Premiership team?

Well, bye Fev, bye Stevo, bye Scotland, bye Barney - you won't be in our next premiership team so there's no point in keeping you. We'll just swap y'all for some untried "talented youth"...surely there's another Courtney Johns or seven out there....

Premierships are not guranteed - even if you have a team of superstars.

Should have pointed out that there are some who would escape the grim reaper. Walker, Hartlett, Blackwell, Russell, Simpson, Betts, Carrazzo, Bryan & Fisher, Raso, Thornton & Waite will now be known as the 'Dirty Dozen'. They are the ones on whom we will place an enormous faith and expect them to grow, develop and become the new raft of leaders at the club.

To get my full plan, read this :

Is this based on you watching some Footy or what you read on the internet?

Won't be part of our next premiership team so let's not persist with him at the expense of someone who will.

i agree that he probably wont be part of our next flag, but i think he needs to be around while we go through this transitional stage.
he is in his mid 20's, with good skill, good experience and the versitility to play in several positions. and if someone younger like setanta forces us to play T-Lo in the ressies then great for us!

he could be more than handy in good side, and adds good depth to our list. and at only 25 still has some scope to improve, espeically with a solid preseaon.

T-Lo should be retained he has only played half a season and you can see he has talent if he goes through next pre season injury free should be good for 2006. Again there are plenty who will be cut before T-Lo

He was probably acquired on a 2 year deal I presume. Not many trades occur on a 1 year deal. Based on this assumption (I could be wrong) he will be kept anyways.
I want to judge him after he has had a decent crack at a pre-season and doesn't have OP and recovering from groin surgery restricting his pre-season preparation.

I suppose he provides some list depth. I am still undecided whether he is part of our best 22 if all players are available.

Not a big fan of T-Lo and I never have been.
Him and fisher are sort of playing the same role ( 3rd marking option)
and I reckon fisher beats him in every regard.

He had an alrite game on sunday and if he plays like that for the rest
he mite survive the axe and with a full preason he mite prove me wrong and turn out to be a nice player.

Oh and what do you guys think of giving him a run in the middle? From reading a few old VFL posts I think he played there a few times and was pretty good.

He's a good mark and presents himself but his kicking needs to improve. He'll be around a bit longer than some other blokes.

I dont reckon his kicking is that bad JB but he needs to stop going to ground for no reason at all. From Under 11s you get told to keep your feet and for some reason he never got taught this rule.

According to the stats he had one possession after quarter time, and only 2 in the first quarter. He's got a long way to go. I think he is yet another of our big band of players who are too good for the VFL but struggle to impact in the AFL.

PS The idea of only retianing players who are going to be part of our next flag is absurd. The way we're going the only guys going to be part of our next flag haven't been drafted yet.
