So as the beginning of the season is getting closer everyday so is the Herald Sun Super coach League Competition.

I dont know about anybody else but I get pretty hooked and spend endless hours thinking about who to pick up and who to trade.

Waite was great early 2009 until he got injured and you cant have a team without 2/3 Judd,Smurph & Gibbs.

I want to know who will be a good pick up and why.

Good value for good return is what I am looking for.

My tip is that you should pick up T.C's very own Paul Bower as he will be mid range in price and from all reports is ready for a big season.

With the likes of Waite and Jamo back in the side this should free up Bower to get more of the ball and run it out from the back.

We all know and love it when he gets the ball and takes a few on down the guts.

Also will be picking up Cachia for 1 of my Rookies as he will be around 80K and i got a feeling he will play some games this year.

Any thought fellow T.C ers and SuperCoach colleagues?

Cachia would be a waste of a DT rookie pick in my opinion as I doubt he'll play unless we're decimated with injury. I'll wait until I see the prices they have on their heads, but I won't be picking up anyone who's had an interrupted pre-season, so Murphy and Jamo won't get a guernsey. I'll pick Judd even though he's out for the first few weeks, Yarran because I think he'll be cheap and will kick goals this year, McLean because he will get leather poisoning most weeks - and of course Kreuzer who will venture down forward and snag a few sausage rolls as well .

Judd is a gimmee as captain (had him last year)
Bower (last year)
Joseph (last year)
Might try Yarran this year as he should be a reasonable get and has the 'unknown' factor.
Scotland always racks up points but nobody seems to want him.....

Had Fev last year as well and will go for him again even though he has gone.

Carrazzo will be a good one for the first 3 rounds as he's bound to get a run in the midfield.......he's bound to find plenty of it as well.

Kruezer & Warnock as my ruckman.

Yarran as small fwd.

McLean as a mid along with Simmo, Gibbs & Carrazzo (all ball magnets)

Bower, Scotland & Browne as defenders.

Should leave me a bit of cash for others!

Bower & Carrots are good bets as defenders.
Gibbs in middle. Will try and trade for Juddy later in the year.
Yarran as a forward, possibly Henderson
Kruezer in the ruck is a given.
