I'd take Lennon and their 2nd rounder for Yarran in a heartbeat.
I'd nearly take Lennon on his own.

Richmond have to be seen to be improving their list in the shortest of short terms. They'll pay overs for Yarran, or we just won't bother to trade him. We have the whip hand.

As someone else said the other day, it's not losing Betts, Garlett, Waite, Robinson, Laidler, Jacobs & Grigg that's hurt us - it's what we got (or didn't get) in return for them.

Personally, I will lose no sleep whatsoever if Henderson & Yarran are traded - as long as we get first round picks in return.

It won't be easy with Henderson. I've got a feeling that deal might not be finalised until very late in the trade period. He is off contract and there is no chance he will stay. Therefore we are in a weak position. I've got a bad feeling Geelong will kick our arse in the negotiations and we'll end up with #28 and Josh Walker for Hendo. That will be another big loss.

I'm more bullish about what we will get for Yarran. The Tigers can talk tough about only giving us a 2nd rounder, but we shouldn't settle for anything less than #12 (or whatever their first pick ends up being). I would prefer the pick to Lennon personally. If we can get Lennon through the PSD that would be a good result, but I can't see it happening. I reckon he will stay at Richmond, or they will trade him to another club (Hawks or North?) to get back into the late first round after they give us their first pick for Yarran.

I've got everything crossed that Kreuzer will stay now that there's seemingly no chance of us getting #2. If he says he wants out no matter what, and the deal from the other clubs is so watered down following the medical tests that we are only eligible for band 2 compensation, that will be a disaster.

This. We hold the cards on this trade (though I've yet to see it formerly confirmed by club or manager that Yarran is leaving).

The sooner we get rid of pea hearts like Hendo and Yarran the sooner we get some pride restored in the team.

Weak character blokes like Hendo and Yarran are not worth much to anyone, why would they be, its the same as Garlett and Robbo, not many teams want to bother with damaged goods, take what we get and move on I reckon.

I have a feeling Richmond and Doggies will go hard for Kreuzer despite Yarran being on Tigers' radar.

There's always future picks which are still valuable for a rebuilding phase. Same goes with Hendo.

Round 1 Pick 1 2015 Draft Pick
Round 1 Pick 2 2015 for Kreuzer
Round 1 Pick 12 2015 for Yarran (or next year's round 1 pick)
Round 2 Pick 20 2015 Draft Pick

Round 1 Pick 3 2016 finish 16th behind Essendon* & Brisbane
Round 1 Pick 10 2016 for Hendo from Geelong
Round 2 Pick 22 2016 Draft Pick

There's some serious quality from Top 20 picks in the next 2 drafts...plus add a FS and a Carlisle, perhaps Philips and Ploughman. Hey might keep Kreuzer and it will only be 2 top 20 picks over 2 years.

We can turn this around if all cards fall the right way and we get rid of players who don't play for team success...you know the types...passengers...Hendo Yarran Garlett

Probably lose Simpson, Tutt and Armfield at the end of 2016. There's the minimum 3 changes right there.

Imagine a priority pick in there too...and we will have to get even tougher on the delisting ledger.

Was thinking along the same lines with the clean out...also includes pricks like my past favourite player (BIG mistake) Waite.

Call me crazy but if that's all they are offering I would look for other suitors or send him to the PSD. Walker is next to useless and pick 28 in this draft might as well be pick 50 in another draft. I want us to show some steel.

28 & Walker would be PSD worthy for mine. Talk about a shit sandwich. Just nominate a pick range for Geelong (eg top15), and let them figure out how to get there.

The fact we want Walker at all tells me SOS aint that much of an upgrade of whatever list management committee we had previously.

Who says that's what we want.
That's what the Pussies are offering up.

Isn't that what Jones was for?

IF we wanted kp depth we should've kept Watson or Giles.

How do you do that without compromising a rebuild? It reminds me of that old kid's song about buckets and holes.

I think we saw last night why you don't pay $500k a season for Eddie Betts.

It's a fair point but he sure does contribute in the H&A season. And getting to the finals is hard enough. But yeah, last night came as no surprise.

The record of our amigos against Hawthorn was always appalling
