Now we only need the same from Justin Davies in over a months time if he can force his chance with the team
I am not trying to be negative or offend any davies lovers etc, but I cant see davies reaching the heights of simpson. The stuff simpson was doing in the bullants for 3 years showed a heap more potential than what davies has been doing. If you saw simpson play in the twos, he really was quite amazing. he was a general of the HB line and constantly dodged opponents and most importantly, after dodging everyone, was able to hit targets. I know it took him a year or so to transfer this play to the ones, but the fact that he could do this showed his huge potential. On the other hand, davies still finds it nigh impossible to hit a target over 20 meters away, has terrible decision making even in the twos and turns the ball over consistently. Its not good enough to just get a lot of touches in the twos, its what you do with it that really shows whether you are able to make it. This is what distingusishes simmo from davies and wiggins also. I know the cazzes say we should all show faith, which is true, but only where the indications support the showing of faith. However, i agree that unless you see the bullants regularly and training, one is not in a position to assess the indications, as a general rule.
