this is pretty much the worst thread in the history of bad threads
that's
understating it!

I think this thread should be renamed "Calculon"
Some of the biggest and most flamboyant over-reactions to something so minor that you'll ever see
HE'S HARMING THE VERY IMAGE OF THE CLUB!!!!!!!
NEWSFLASH: THE CLUB WAS [REDACTED] BEFORE THE PETITION.. THE BIGGEST EFFECT IT COULD HAVE IN THE MEDIA IS THAT CARLTON FANS ARE UNSETTLED WITH OUR PERFORMANCES AND WANT CHANGE.....
DEERRRR!!! WE ARE!!!!!
Sydney Blue's sig sums it up. Some of you guys are in dreamworld about where this club is at, and you have your fingers in your ears trying to pretend its not happening.
OR you could be realistic and become an agent for change. Thats all Cammo is doing... he's communicating a message to the club that we're unhappy (or at least the people who sign it are).. THATS IT.... the club can chuck it out (and probably will) and carry on, or they can start the process of change that we need... and that might not necessarily be Pagan's sacking... it could mean anything that makes our appreciation on game-day better (ie, encouraging a youth policy, or sticking fast in trade week to a no-retreads/no trade draft picks policy... or something like that).. in other words, put a PLAN in place.
And that plan should be in place already... All Cammo's media is telling the club, and the footy world, is that Carlton fans expect better.... what the club do with that message is up to them.
Some of the anti-petition outbursts in this thread are laughable.... those people have totally missed the point.
There are different kinds of supporters. The Blues Muse (for example) has a maternal connection to the club... which is totally fine... I can understand her not liking the spirit of the petition, because it trashes someone she loves.... totally fine.. we just have different "styles" and I wouldn't dismiss her right to that connection
But the "bad media" stuff is a joke..... The population of Synbad's "la la land" must be growing exponentially
