What happened in respect of Clarke, Molsey?
And one you might not want to answer on a public forum: who do you think could make way for fresh faces?
Not sure what happened to Clarke, I'm not up with the Directors.
I gave up on my attempt to remain impartial ... oooh, about last Monday with the farcical non-decision made by our Board. Its all open-slather now!
I think Gleeson and Kernahan should remain as football people (add at least a couple more), I think Greg Lee is a key person for the Blues (and future leader), I think Mathieson has continually put his hand and name in the pocket to look after us, and I think Smorgan offers something (just not as President). From my limited understanding I have no idea what the rest offer. Rose is supposedly Finance Director (?), Diggins is a rellie of someone and I cant name the rest for lack of public image. I think a partially new ticket with the retention of these key people would be a good idea.
I dont think there's any shame in moving on as a Director - to me, it should be a transitory position that you devote yourself to, do your best, and then move on. If Valmorbida offers something then fine, good for the Club, but I think the outlook is all wrong. If you can commit to the Club, have ideas to turn it around, then hang around. If you're spent then move on. There's no shame in that. It's carlton. We all love it. We need to give our all and when we're done let someone else step in.
(ps if you notice no new article from me its because someone took offence... at a volunteer!)
