When it comes to footy politics Denis is up there with the best of them.
I admire him through a lot of this. He has maintained his dignity when nearly everyone else at Carlton has had their pants pulled down but dignity isnt enough.
Changes needed to be made at Carlton in 2002 but a divide and conquer mentality can only cure so many problems. Now it is creating as many as it solved.
If anyone at Carlton believes articles like this solve anything, they are badly mistaken.
Mind you, Hutchy was an interesting choice.
He was pushing a pro Pagan agenda harder than Brown was pushing anti Pagan 10 days ago.
How stimulating, Denis must be pissing himself laughing at Hutchisons ineptitude. Hutchy asked about 24 questions and got 24 cliche's in return.
It is a distraction from the farcical situation happening at Carlton.
Why doesnt someone actually supply some REAL ANSWERS?
How can a coach have a fractured relationship with the board, fractured relationship with the club footy powerbroker and irrepairable relationship with the surviving assistant coach and still believe he can do his job?
Yet decisions need to be made on injury management, team direction and list composition.
Who is making those decisions? Where is the accountability?
A 20 million dollar organisation acting with the professionalism of a stall holder at trash and treasure.
Yes folks, be confident that your hard earned is being well handled by the most inept bunch of has beens and never wasbeens in the AFL.
Welcome to Carlton 2006.
