No offence but you guys are dreaming. We're on the AFL's life support, we can't even sack our coach without their approval. You think we're gonna take them on now? We won't even change their mind on the priority pick for this year let alone the one we lost years ago. They were pissed they forgot to ban us for the priority in 03.
So why aren't you confident/interested in claiming for emancipation?
Did we refrain from sacking a coach because of AFL influence? Source? If so, is that not a breach of the AFL's charter? Intimidation....worse than that...?
Given the AFL forgot, does that imply it was just to do so in the first place? If they forgot, then another logical way to look at it is that the PP wasn't not included! If it was written it should be, if not, it's excluded. Simple. They didn't cross the t's and dot the i's. That's not our problem. Do you have a problem with that The Game? But yet they imposed it on us, and you all know the result...are you comfortable with that?
How can you have faith in a commission that forgets to administer all the pain they can muster, yet in their favour I guess they probably felt they were pushing past the limits when they imposed the CFC with what they did.
Collins sold us out! No question IMO. I'm not an idiot, and I've believed this all along. Conspiracy, possibility? It was implicated by association, and obvious. It wasn't the members that didn't do anything about it! When did the members decide to not challenge? We trusted the Collins board. There's definetely a conflict of interest I can smell, feel and taste, (Collins, AFL, Telstra Stadium deal, AFL) and so does an Essendon* supporter who I know very well (a lawyer and opponent) and hates CFC...and so on....(ie everyone that is non Carlton I've asked about such a challenge has agreed that it's the right thing to do by its members).
Ask the members if they would challenge the AFL's 2002 decision back in 2002, or even after the 2003 draft when we were allowed a PP, if they were given the option, and my guess is that they would! They weren't given the option! Simple. They were none the wiser! Sue Collins for negligence, and let the Telstra stadium pay his due; they'll still be infront.
Do you not give this a chance The Game? Would you prefer to give it a go or not? I guess you have to ask yourself, what have I/CFC got to gain, and what have I/CFC got to lose? That'll help.
I'll get back to Synbad's question at Quarter time, my guests are calling me downstairs. Thank god they know I'm pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and have been since 2002 when we didn't challenge the AFL. Now is my time, yes I'm dreaming The Game, I'm dreaming of justice, if not anything else!!.
We're Carlton F^(())&)) the rest!!!...and they'll know that they've been playing against the famous old dark blues.
