comparing Williams to Doully in some sort of Solomn's court is frogshit of the most ridiculous .
We compare players all the time. It's half the point of this place. We compare them for pace, attitude and skill so why not compare the way they conduct themselves in public during and after their careers?
Doull epitomises most of what I appreciate in great sportspeople. Diesel's latest whinge epitomises the self-centred crap that's [REDACTED] over our club in the last few years.

Greg was slow, small and unwanted yet pushed himself, egging out every vestige of excellence he could. What, you think that kind of desire, that kind of single-mindedness suddenly evaporates when you retire?
Nope. When it comes to the way he conducts himself I don't expect any more from Diesel than he's given. I've learnt not to expect very much from him in that respect.
If Greg Williams thinks that an additional Brownlow medal's somehow going to miraculously put him on the same plane as Bob Skilton he's got no idea. Skilton is loved by the football community as much for the person that he is as his three medals. Give me a Greg Williams with Bobby Skilton's grace and manners over a surly, disgruntled prick with three medals any day.

Couldn't give a toss if he gets his brownlow or not but I think I'll refrain from judging him. Besides 3 brownlows is the top of the F@%&#! mountain and Greg was one to climb mountains wasn't he.
Instead I'll just remember that game against Melbourne (and many many others) and think 'F@%&#! the guy was a ripper'.
Yep - I'll remember all those games too and when he can stop his petulant poor little me routine in the media hopefully I'll be able to remember those alone.
Greg Williams is close to the best footballer I've ever seen but that has absolutely nothing to do with any of this.
