I fully encourage criticism, but IMO in the last few months the criticism on TC about the CFC has tipped over into ridiculous proportions and again IMO has now gone from being healthy criticism which educates the supporter base to overblown levels that now does more harm than good in trashing the brand of the CFC.
The balance is out of whack and there are a significant number of posters here who drown out anything that is said that is positive, and that is a shame because many people just stop posting here because of it.
Looking forward to when the negative nellies are happy again. Might be soon hopefully

and then we can get back into the normal groove.
Good stuff Jars.
I do agree with you that at times the negative posts (which posters are entitled to let me add) have been done ad nauseum. It's one of the reasons why I havent spent as much time online in TC this year, after being a semi-prolific poster last year and on TBV.
There's only so much negativity one can take.
Most of us here live and breathe Carlton and, by association, TC.
If you live and breathe something, and that something is constantly being pounded with negativity all the time.... well... you fill in the blanks....
Having said that..... unfortunately, that's the nature of internet forums.
People's posting mirrors how the team and the club are going. In our case, it's exacerbated by the fact that Carlton are going through the worst period in our proud history.
The supporters aren't used to this and the forum is an outlet to vent and voice their frustration/anger with fellow brothers/sisters that love the Navy Blue.
Looked at from a different perspective, the negativity on this forum demonstrates the passion, emotive ties, and genuine love we have for Our Club.
Ironic that the existence of Carlton internet forums has coincided with the worst period in CFC's history.... it's like raiiiinn on you wedding day!
