no - you and others are talking about the retread policy - asking why the club didn't take more kids - yet here now we are saying 90% of our list is under 21 - which would help to explain why we lose so often and would also explain (notice explain does not mean I agree with it) why the club has tried to grab some retreads/older bodies.

After all I assume all along Denis has wished to keep his job.

No, that explains an inability to grasp the concept of rebuilding.

Haven't you learnt yet dannyboy ... its ALL Pagan's fault. The board is crap, Lance is fat, etc, etc.

Don't try to argue these points with facts ... you'll get shot down mate

PS For what it's worth I fully agree with you DB. We've had the youngest list in the comp for a couple of years now and yet people still want to criticise the club for getting players in from other clubs when EVERY club does it including the likes of West Coast (Adkins from Collingwood, Armstrong from Melbourne, etc). The fact is some work, others don't ... but at least most other clubs are giving it a crack at improving their list on a year to year basis while still drafting in youth. It's easy to go down the path of 'all youth' and when the losses start racking up then blame the coach and not the policy in place. Every finals team has a mix of youth and experience ... we haven't had an experienced core since 'the traitors of 2002 and 2003' left en masse. It'll take time to build it up again and I'm one person that doesn't blame Pagan solely for where we are on the ladder.

This is why we dont have these discussions with you Dukes.
You dont have the ability to have informed debate. Instead you go with rant and rave and sprout absolute nonsense

This is like having a discussion with a 5 year old.
Have you got your fingers in your ears and your tongue sticking out?

For starters, this year we had more 25+ players than the Western Bulldogs. Having more younger players didnt seem to hurt them. :?

We also had less or the same amount of teenagers than some finals teams. :?
Perhaps you should leave the rational debate to the rest of us and we'll start a Talking Nonsense section for you.

Rational debate huh??? Haven't seen that on here for a little while now. Anyone that wants to praise Lance for winning the B&F or actually enjoying winning games is labelled anti-Carlton by the tanking brigade.

I agree the club has never (well maybe this year but we'll wait and see) truly embraced the rebuilding process (and here we remembver Synners moans aboutr Delideo) but maybe also (as well, too, etc) they have been caught up in the idea (and pagan's at fault here I think) that you need leaders/role models to help develop youth when obviously all you need is to draft as many kids as you can.

mind you it would be nice to choose retreads who are leaders/role models in the art of playing this @#$%&! game. 8)

Never heard you praising Teague for winning the BnF...

Never heard you wishing we didnt have Murphy or A crack at a kiid like Gibbs...

Go on then ... tell us what a gun Teague is... and how we dont need talent like Walker Murphy or Gibbs...

a guy like you should never get into an argument... youre get all bent over with your undies around your ankles...

I'm definitely a fan of Gavin. He played for the same club in Brisbane as a cousin, once removed, of mine.

From the following retreads that super coach Pagan has recruited can you tell me which ones have worked and which ones haven't:
Chambers
Longmuir
Saddington
Mott
Johnson
Kenna
Deluca
Teague
Harford
Mclaren
Martyn
Bowyer
Mcgrath
Bannister
