Of course i can argue.. but you keep g9iving me hypotheticals...
Like the money.....
Well i keep telling you the money is coming in ebcause there will be a plan unlike currently..
And you will give me another hypothetical like... "what if they dont have the money can put a plan into place?"
and ill tell you..... the reason why people will invest in the club is because there WILL BE A PLAN...!!!
So either you didnt get a grasp of comprehension or you couldnt make the debating team... either way youre way out of your depth.,..

Paraphrasing is not your strong point Synbad. Allow me ...
*People will invest in the club because there will be a plan. I get it, never said otherwise. Take it as read and stop shouting.
That plan is not to take the club from a $7m plus debt to a cash positive position is it? Are the new ticket forming a plan based on the same set of circumstances Smorgon and co are faced with right now, seeing how it flies, and then once the money men see the plan, they say 'okay' and pour in the funds. The new board then tear up the plan they formulated to get themselves out of the debt and make a new plan because they are now out of the debt? My guess is no.
So they have to come up with a plan for getting the club back on the map, improving revenue, improving memberships, improving marketing etc etc. Would that be correct? They show that plan, the money comes in and we are good to go.
My point is that Smorgon and the current board can not make a plan for how to take the club forward without first considering the fragile state of our finances and whether it is responsible to spend money we do not have.
So each party are not coming from the same place are they? One has the assurance of extra funds, the other doesn't.
If Smorgon went to these same people and said that he has a plan for taking the club forward from a cash positive position if they put the cash in, what would they say? The fact is the only plan he can put in place is one from a dire financial perspective.
You say he won't put his own money in because he doesn't have faith in his own plan. Apart from the fact he did put money in, he is one person. How many extremely wealthy supporters are putting in their smaller contributions relatively speaking, to make up to the full amount? How long is it taking to ensure that money will be there? I don't see any of them clambering over each other to make a one off $7m donation.
I digress, because I don't wish to make light of what sounds like a very generous and necessary input from these guys. They will all have my undying admiration and my support for their venture, make no mistake about it.
I'm one for hearing both sides though and in your efforts to promote the new ticket, you continually take pot shots at the other side. It is completely unnecessary and unproductive for you to do so. I'm no Smorgon fan but I'd wager he has done a lot more for the club than most have, and certainly doesn't need a dirty political campaign to be run by the likes of you.
As I said, no heart for the debate. Your heart is in the right place in regards to the club no doubt but when it comes to people skills, it is all about bullying, belittling, dividing and conquering. When you start believing your own plaudits, you turn into not a very nice person. A prime example of the sort of thing I don't want to know about fellow supporters because it tarnishes the whole experience for me that little bit.
Out of my depth? Please, get some desirable human traits and then we'll talk.
