i agree jimmae. Kennedy , with tuition, could be a good rucken when the ball is in the forward line. We dont want him motoring all over the place though.
Why dont we just recruit a real ruckman....there's an idea......
Why must we continue to cheat with undersized or out of position players.....
reminds me of Trent Hotton and Andrew Merrington....lets make ruckman out of of them or how about we redraft Prenda and let him ruck.....get a real ruckman and let Kennedy play CHF....
But that's just the point, would he really be out of position if we used him as a ruck option? What defines his suited position for you?
I'd be interested to know how Kennedy's arm span stacks up with some of the premier rucks in the comp. I think he can play a Kosi-type role and not collapse in a heap like everyone thinks.
Of course we're going to draft a ruckman at some point. Of course he's never going to be the primary option. Of course there's a risk of injury... I mean hell it's going to be sooooo much worse than playing as a bash and crash CHF.

He's worth a try down the track and he has a record of being a profficient ruckman at junior level.
Kennedy was recruited as a CHF IMHO and is an asset we need to look after for the future.....if he bombs as a player then we are back to square one for KPP forwards...so much depends on him.
I dont recall Carey, Kernahan, Tredrae being used in the ruck......the idea was to get a proper ruckman, proper CHF and have them play in their rightful roles.....
I dont have a problem with Kennedy doing the odd bit of ruckwork down forward but I dont like the idea of my very valuable CHF being used in a Kosi style around the ground and becoming a injury prone croc....
Stkilda couldnt be bothered recruiting a decent ruckman or decent rookie ruckman and tried to cheat with Kosi and I think we have to learn from that....
