Russell Crowe fies to London to watch Tzyu and then flies to NYC and SHATTERS some Hispanic porters cheekbone with the phone... Crowe is on the news...
Fair dinkum!!!Fev goes to sydney to watch a fight and its news...!!!
The moral of the story is dont go to fights or something bad will happen...
A bit protective of fev are we? I think the issue raised was that Fev did not do everything in his power to treat his groin and be ready for the game. His preparation for the game was lacking and from the comments I've quoted below it seems to be an issue. There was 1 line about flying up to sydney to watch the fight - thats hardly a beat up but rather a statement of fact

"We've spoken to Brendan about quality preparation, and I said to him, 'Where do you want to see yourself? Do you want to see yourself as an up-and-down footballer, an inconsistent footballer? Or do you want to see yourself as a very good footballer?'," Pagan said yesterday.
"I said the good players, the champions, train smarter and harder than the blokes they play against and that's why they're consistent and that's why they stand up all the time.

Pagan yesterday said that Fevola's preparation last week had defied everything he valued, and that he had spoken to him after last Thursday's team meeting about the importance of training and how it separated champions from their opponents.
"What I said to him was, 'Brendan, this week you've defied the laws of AFL preparation and certainly everything that I value . . .' He looked at me and said, ' What if I kick six goals?' and I said, 'You'll be a genius'. That was the crux of the conversation."
